Have you ever heard of this drama? I watched episodes 1 to 3 these days. You can see it on Netflix. ahahaa
I’m holding it in because it’s so much fun. Now is the time to study, so I am concentrating on studying. So I watch it for 30 minutes whenever I have time. It’s so much fun, so I want to save it more.
Itaewon Class (Korean: 이태원 클라쓰) is a 2020 Korean drama starring Park Seo-joon (박서준), Kim Da-mi (김다미), Yoo Jae-myung (유재명) and Kwon Nara (권나라).
It is based on the webtoon of the same name. (Daum Webtoon) But there is only Korean. In fact, some say that dramas are not fun from episode 5 to 16. It is said that webtoons are much more interesting. But I haven’t seen it yet.
But I fell in love with the charm of this drama and watched it until the end.
Do you have a heart-fluttering goal? This song is honestly the best song in the drama and fits so well. I love this song so much. Why? It’s so uplifting like i could run towards my dreams.
Kwon Na Ra & Park Seo Joon
That girl is Kwon Nara (권나라). In the drama, her name is Oh Soo-ah (오수아). She is an orphan, supported by Jangga Group, and employed by Jangga Group. She is also Park Sae-ro-yi(박새로이, Park Seo-joon)’s first love. She is the reason why i watch this drama. She’s so pretty. Really pretty. olalla
* I’m telling you in advance that this is just my standard. There is no basis for that. It’s just my cup of tea.
I once aimed to make my music list. Music tastes seem to change from time to time. In my early 20s, I liked music that was just exciting.
Now, it’s, like, more emotional. Now I like music that fits my situation the best. I wish there was music playing then. I hope the music brings back memories.
Have you seen the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” (film)? In the movie, it’s a trend to record and give a list of songs to your liking on tape.
Let’s get started.
1. H girl Playlist
Thumbnail means “This song is crazy.” The thing I was most surprised about on this YouTube channel is that the background is too elaborate.
The mood and the lyrics of the song blend so well that it conveys meaning well. The time is short about 30 minutes per video. I like this channel best.
2. May I choose a song for you? Playlist
The channel name is “네고막을책임져도될까” in Korean. It means “Can I take responsibility for your eardrums ?” At first, I laughed a lot when I saw this. I guess they couldn’t name the channel this way. ahahaa olalla
This channel really recommends music that fits the situation. You can know by the title like”Did you have a hard time today?”, “a lullaby whispering in your ear:)” and “Without music, life would be a mistake.”
3. TAKE A LOOK Playlist
The name of this video is “옆에 타 내가 운전은 못해도 노래는 기가 막히게 트니까.” It means “Ride next to me. I can’t drive, but I can play the music enormously.” I think it’s an extremely well-written title.
4. KozyPop Playlist
The title means “Do you have an appointment? Let’s get ready for 30 minutes. Tension UP Groove Pop (11songs)”
5. essential; Playlist
They upload very hard. Sometimes I get music that suits my taste.
It’s all. The best thing is that I make my own list. It’s great that I can put meaning into it. See you next~
There are many recommendations for Korean web dramas such as best 5 and top 100, but I will recommend you to my taste. It’s very subjective. 🙂
Since there are different parts that you can sympathize with according to age, I sorted them out according to the age of the characters. If you are in your 20s, you can look back on memories of your teenage years and know the lives of office workers in advance.
You can watch it all for free on YouTube, and each episode is about 20 minutes (8-10 episodes per season), so you can watch it on your day off.
A-TEEN (Season 1-2)
These days, there are no teenagers in Korea who don’t know this web drama. In particular, “Do Hana” was very popular. Everyone is into Do Hana syndrome, copying her movements and tastes.
Though it may be very different from foreign styles, it dealt with friendship and fresh love. Of course, there are many unrealistic things compared to Korean reality. Each episode is about 10 minutes.
A-TEEN Season 1 – EP.24 A-TEEN Season 2 – EP.20
Love Playlist (Season 1-4)
It is the most popular for college students in their 20s. Would it be good or bad to love in the major? In the same university, same major, couples are called “Campus Couples(CC).” You may think that what others see is important, but in Korea, there are many saying that CC is not good.
This is because most relationships in their early 20s are bound to break up, and people around them who were originally friends are having a hard time. There could be strange rumors. You can’t understand it now, but if you watch web dramas, you can understand the situation. But anything is possible if you love enough! Each Episode is about 5 minutes.

Ending again (the Latest!)
It’s a story in her late 20s. There are two episodes in English now. In Korean, it has been up to the eighth episode. It’s the latest! As expected, it is gaining huge popularity. I watch it these days and it’s so much fun. The main female character is so pretty and lovely.
She broke up with boyfriend of eight years, but he succeeded and appeared before her again! But now next to her is a younger man who likes her. Who will she choose? This is the key.
XX (the Latest!)
Also, there are two episodes in English now. In Korean, there were 10 episodes and it was over. With ending again recently, I really enjoyed watching these two web drama. The main female character is a head bartender.
The story is about friendship cracks because of an ex-boyfriend and love between bartenders. I think “XX” means ‘ex’ and ‘XX chromosome.’ Also, maybe it sounds like a curse, as “야, 이 XX야.” I hope you enjoy it.
Flower Ever After (Season 1) The Best Ending (Season 2)
People in their 30s now think more about marriage than about love. Some people want to get married and live a stable life, while others hesitate to get married because of still unstable reality. The story is about four people who are thinking about marriage.
We looked at everything from teenagers to marriage. Please love Korean web drama a lot. 🙂
“You have to become the ‘first of yourself’ before you try to be the second of anyone.” – BoA
“Cry out loud once. Look at the mirror & shake it off. I’ve cried like that before & others will have times like that too. Cheer up. You’re not alone.” Jonghyun of SHINee
“Although I am thankful that everybody labels me as ‘top,’ it is important to go back to being a rookie even if one becomes ‘top.’ After climbing up a high mountain, in order to climb up another even higher mountain the next time around, if one does not come back down once, it won’t happen. I’m coming down slowly and climbing up once again. If we repeat that process, when we are really climbing up a high mountain, we will come to see various sides. Isn’t that life?”- TVXQ’s Yunho
“The biggest competition is myself. I am not looking to follow others or pull them down. I’m planning to test my own boundaries.”- Rain
Kpop quotes : To do my best
“As long as you’re not dead, your life isn’t the end. – Jay Park
“I think reaching the top is ambiguous in and of itself. Above the top is the sky, above that is the universe, and even above that there’s going to be something else. I always want to be growing, higher than the sky and the universe.”- iKON’s Bobby
“Rather than taking an easy route, taking a difficult route is more satisfying and interesting. Life is hard at times; life is easy at other times. It zig zags and spins round and round, it goes up and down. When all that is done, you’ll probably smile and say, ‘I lived a very fun life.'” – Minzy of 2NE1
“There are people who would not like me no matter what I do. I used to be hurt by that before. But I started thinking differently. There’s nothing I can do except to do my best” – HyunA
War begets more war. The Korean War began on June 25, 1950. Many people went through a lot of hardships. They had frequent brushes with death. The iron of war had entered into their souls. The Korean War ended in 1953 with a cease-fire. The Korean War left Korea devastated. Also it divided our country into two halves. The war has branded unforgettable scars on our minds.

How long should we wait? We can’t stand it anymore. It is so hard and painful. My family and friends are dying. Who can compensate you for their death? To Whom? What can you do? Money never can pay it back. Nothing can repay this!
DPCW is the Ultimate Solution
Chairman Lee proclaimed “HWPL has made peace agreements with present and former presidents and heads of state, chiefs justices of Supreme courts, university presidents, religious leaders, and the heads of international organizations, and this news has been broadcasted allaround the world. The cessation of war and world peace will become a reality because everyone desires for peace rather than war” and finally “We have the answer to peace which is the DPCW.” I’m sure it will cure the world more beautifully.
DPCW is the solution!!! Let’s become the messengers of peace!
PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
Yu Ho-Jin, the illusionist, is the winner of the Grand Prix Award at the FISM World Championships of Magic in 2012. Everyone said “It is a good idea to connect Magic and Olympic games.” Magic and Olympics have something in common. After thousands of desperate efforts, we can bear fruit. So It can be beautiful. ‘There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it’s going to be a butterfly.’, R. Buckminster Fuller said. Like this quote, they can’t see anything for a long time. They will become butterflies. The slogan of PyeongChang 2018 is “Passion. Connected.” This video showed 4 magical experience(Cross-country, speed skating, ski jump and snow board). Did they really do? It sounds really good to get interested in. I want to really see it.
What opens up a new horizon?
Theme song for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Torch Relay
Before we speak about ‘Theme song’, we must know about slogans of PyeongChang 2018. Because the name of this song is the ‘Let Everyone Shine‘ which is the slogan of torch relay. And PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Torch has two keywords, Olympic Spirits & New Horizons. New Horizon is the vision of PyeongChang 2018. There are 4 parts, Cultural, Environmental, Geographical and Economic New Horizons. It is to create a sustainable legacy. The flame of torch will shine the potential of everyone’s dream, passion and their future, “anytime and anywhere”, and open new horizon. Peace is waiting for you! We Are One!!! Passion is connected!
Today is the Sam-il-jeol Independence Movement Day(March 1) in South Korea. Do you have any independence day in your countries? In fact, when I just lived only in South Korea, I can‘tfeelanything. I thought that of course everyone has Independence Day until now. But it’s not. I’m curious about what the difference is. Itdependsonwhoyouarebut Cultural differences maybe can exist. It is important to know what standards the majority of society has. HAHAHA I don’t mean to say this. Let me introduce Samiljeol. 🙂
History : Why did it happen?
On every March 1st, Korean streets filled with national flags. It commemorate a national independence movement in 1919. What happened in 1919? They suffered discrimination terribly during Japanese colonial rule. The rule of force, cultural obliteration, extortion of their land made life difficult. People from all walks of life suffered lot of damagefor the past ten years. At this moment,Woodrow Wilson(28thPresident of the United States from 1913 to 1921) announced <Fourteen Points>. It contains spirit of ‘Principle of National Self-determination‘. It activate national independence movement.
Independence Movement Day : 33 Korean leaders
In 1919 Han Yong-un, one of the 33Korean leaders, read the country’s Declaration of Independence at the Taehwagwan Restaurant in Seoul. 33 Korean leaders consisted of 16 to Christianity, 15 to Catholicism and 2 to Buddhism. What is surprising is that religious leaders initiate action. Corrupt religious leaders of course existed. But at times somereligious leaders are really cool.
After March 1st Movement, result is rally 1,542, participants 2,023,089, deaths 7,509, wounded 15,961, those arrested 52,770, burned church 47 and private houses 715(from Japan). Even though this movement caused a lot of casualties by Japan’s brutal crackdown, this national movement showedthe patriotism of our people both internally and externally.
How can I forget about Yoo Gwan-soon!!!Japanese military police tortured Yoo Gwan-soon, who died in prison in 1920 at 18. The scope of the torture was beyond our expectation. Maybe it is too painful… My heart was broken…
Lastly, Kim Gu’s quote is moving. We must need highly-developed culture. I want to write about this more.
The only thing that I desire in infinite quantity is the power of a highly-developed culture. This is because the power of culture both makes ourselves happy and gives happiness to others. – Kim Gu
Do you know Korean traditional holiday? In Korea, there are four traditional holidays: New Year’s Day, Hansik, Dano, and Chuseok. Funny thing is, the highest number of deliveries in Korea are made during New Year’s Day and Chuseok. Many people only see each other twice a year during the New Year’s day and Chuseok. I love this holiday because I don’t go to school for a long days!! It is most nearly five days. New Year’s Day is the end of January. Chuseok is the beginning of October.
New Year’s Day in the world
The Chinese New Year is a 15-day holiday. It is also called Spring Festival. The redness are all over China. Why? Because red lantern is a symbol of good luck and fortune. Japan’s New Year’s Day is お正月. In Vietnam, Lunar New Year is widely known as Tet(Tết/節). Thedaybefore, everyone is busy to start cleaning the house in the morning. The house is full of energy. Songkran(สงกรานต์) festival is to celebrate Thailand’s New Year. It is like a Water Festival. The festival is full of vigor.
Traditional Festival foods
Funny thing is, People fret over the holidays about putting on the pounds after so many festive meals. It is very colorful. Of course, we will eat lots of delicious food! Picture is good than text.
No one ever expected that so many people came together. Everyone think “citizens are tired in candlelight rally that lasted for a long time.” This is the sixth Candlelight vigils. But huge crowds pourinto nationwide. Candlelight vigils is being held in 70 places of the country. 200,000 in Busan. 100,000 in Gwanju. 50,000 in Daejeon.
1,700,000 people in Seoul. Nationwide total is 2,320,000 people.
Even though so many people came together, Non-violent culture is still. Any one is not taken to the police. They march in 100 m front of Cheong Wa Dae. It is the shortest distance until now. This peaceful protest is unprecedented in world history.
Many amazing things happened. When one citizen suddenly collapsed, police officers hand over hot packs. Wow.
Second, one citizen threw flowers for peace performance. Then, people say “Don’t hit by flowers” I was impressed.
And there were citizens to putflower stickerson police car.
Also foreign interests is hot. They expressed surprise in particular about orderly and peaceful assembly culture.
Candlelight Vigil in Korea : “A country belongs to the people”
Now in Korea candlelight protests were steadily being held. We can see many people. There were mothers dragging a stroller, families coming hand in hand, middle and high school students and Elder people who come with friends. It is strange enough to not come. You can tell how much hot the atmosphere is, is it right?
How many are there?
1,000,000 in Gwanghwamun Gate.
Really a large number of people gathered. But I don’t know well about politics. I want to emphasize the meaning in that many people gathered.
Mature Sense of Citizenship
But Candlelight Vigil is peaceful. Violent demonstration can occur but mature sense of citizenship stop it. There are citizens who pick up some trash and who cry out to protect police line.
High Level of Rally Culture
Before the violence, they satirizes society. The whole town is in festive mood. Many musicians came out and performed together. Celebrities are making comments as well. Every kind of parody also are constantly made. Now new culture is being made. I’m looking forward to the future. 🙂
Sovereignty rests with the People of the Republic of Korea.
All Power comes from the People.
