Today Is 3rd WARP Summit 2017!!!

Today has never been and never will be

What day is today? You seems to be in a good mood today, aren’t you? It is the reason that Today is not an ordinary day. I feel a little better today, me too. The reason why we are happy is quite clear. Unprecedented event is happening now. 3rd WARP Summit 2017 spread out right here in Korea. I am so glad I think my heart will burst out. Don’t you want to join? Don’t you want to feel? Take our hands and be our friends.

Peace is not somewhere else. We are peace.

Our slogan is “Together for peace as messengers of peace”. As this slogan, all IPYG and IWPG members work together for a world of peace and cessation of war. They show us the culture of peace with all their heart. Peace is not somewhere else. We are peace. You can experience the true culture of peace. Regardless of individual backgrounds, a culture of peace will foster understanding of harmony. At that time, We Can Be One! People from all nations and religions will become one through a heart yearning for peace.

They show the time when DPCW is already implemented. It is really great idea. HWPL‘s walk is always beyond our imagination. If they sets their mind on something, they finds a way to achieve it beyond doubt. Still presidents don’t sign up at DPCW, but I can feel the day is coming. Why do we need peace? : We will make it

Reason of War: 80% Religious war
Victims of War : 3.7 billion
Nobel Peace prize rewarded : 124 times

How long will we wait? We are not prepared to wait forever. Is peace possible? Is it a naive desire? Nope. It is possible. It’s going to be tough but we’ll pull through it together. We‘ll make it, I tell you. If you just see yourself, maybe the world is already peaceful, Aren’t you? We really need to broaden our views. Watch whole world! Our friends are there.

Three Children of Syria : Cry Out for Peace

Do you remember ‘Alan Kurdi‘? You already know it. He appeared dead on the beach. While trying to go to Europe to avoid civil war, his mother(35) and his brother(5) were drowned. Then all the world wanted to help Syria refugees.

Do you remember ‘Omran Daqneesh‘? He was rescued after being buried in collapsed buildings in Syria Aleppo. One picture shocked people all over the world. He was sitting in an ambulance with stained with blood and dust. I cannot repress my astonishment.

Bana Alabed, who broadcasted the current situation in real time, is also same. She got 233,653 followers. Her first words were “I need peace”. It was retweeted over 1000 times.

This three children informed the world of the misery of the Syrian civil war. They changed world’s movement for Syria.

It is our WHY

Peace is Coming!!! HWPL : 2nd Annual Commemoration of WARP Summit

Last year, I posted ‘2nd Annual Commemoration of the WARP Summit 2017’. I encounter with HWPL first. In fact, I want peace but I always think ‘Is it really possible?’. But I can’t give up! I find and find. Then, I see the ‘2nd WARP Summit 2016′. 100,000 people gathered. WARP Summit can be divided into three part.

First. Conferences and Forums.
Second. “Peace March”-themed world parade and traditional cultural performances.
Third. “War and Peace“ cards section performances.

How about this Year?

And I’m really looking forward to 3rd WARP Summit 2017! This time, what new things they show? I really like their ‘Heavenly culture‘. What is it? It is to live according to the principles and values of heaven, a place that gives light, rain and air without boundaries. I upload it beneath. Sounds promising, right? Never pass up this chance! How are you today? : Inspirational music

Life is tough. Aren’t you? Ah, another extra year of cramming for entrance exams. Other friends are all ahead. One of those who joined the company at the same time promoted. But we are two. I’m just going round in circles. I am…what? Why am I like this everyday? When I am depressed, I listen this Inspirational music. This story gave me a lot of power. Do you know ‘Joseph‘? He is one of characters in the Bible. His life is really dynamic. Let’s start the story.

What I get : You know better than I

Joseph is a the youngest of 12 brothers. He gained the favor of his father. But Jealousy drove his brothers to sell Joseph into slavery. He lived as slaves. Lucky for him, as his ability was recognized, he rose to high position. But due to a conspiracy, He was jailed. What a terrible life, isn’t it? At this moment, this music float out. He cry out “I thought I did what’s right. I thought I had the answers. Ah, I thought I chose the surest road.” He is sad. I know his feeling. I can feel it. He said “But that road brought me here. So I put up a fight. And told you how to help me.” Now he is starting to nitpick. After a fierce battle, he realized one thing. I want you to realize!

It is first anniversary of a child refugee’s Death. Do you remember ‘Alan Kurdi‘?

He is a child refugee. Last year he became enormously famous. Because he appeared dead on the beach. While trying to go to Europe to avoid civil war, his mother(35) and his brother(5) were drowned. Then all the world wanted to help the refugees.

After 2 years : What we do

Then, all over the world feel responsible and weep together, but after 2 years the situation was developing tragically. The people don’t want refugees, immigrants and Muslim because of fear of terror attack. Actually I understand it. I’m also horrible. But we can’t turn our face away. In fact I turn away many times. I’m sorry to say that, I’m sorry. Now writing, I’m thinking a little about refugees. But soon I go back to my daily routine. I’m sorry to Krudi, Alan’s father whose everyday is painful.

End War : Our mission

Krudi, Alan’s father cry out that anyone can be refugee and call sympathy for immigrants, not only child refugee. He said “After Alan, thousands of child refugee dead. The solution of refugee problem is to end war. Stop talking! It is time to put up or shut up. We must end War that is a root cause of refugee. Refugees want to go home”

North Korea nuclear : Peace Messenger, Together

North Korea nuclear program : H-bomb

In 2017 September, 5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred at North Korea. Have telephone calls without a break. “is it a nuclear? War? Is it a just earthquake?” That’s right. The North’s sixth nuclear test took place. What nuclear? It is the hydrogen bomb. It has tremendous destructive power. That is 3,800 times of atomic bomb blast on Hiroshima. Also it lead to condemnation from around the world. North Korea nuclear.

I sometimes have an anger at North Korea. If they hurt innocent people, I can’t forgive them. But at times I thank for North Korea. They made us recognize the need for peace. Our hearts will be one before long. We need practical and substantive approach for peace. It is not a small thing, Peace. I have full of mind for peace! So, I find out what we can do! Letters to Me : Planting the seeds #7

Planting the seeds

Hi! What’s up? Do you grow plants? I am planting seeds today. Maybe is it boring? But it is so interesting! Also it is really meaningful! Planting trees is good for the environment, too. One idea popular with the eco-conscious is to have trees planted for them. I planted seeds in plastic coffee cups abandoned on the road with my friends. It is nice to know I’m not alone. Life is really amazing. These tiny seeds will grow and grow. Small buds are cute Letters to Me. It will make me think deeply.

Do you know ‘how much you grow’? A lot of times, we don’t care about it. Just live the daily life. The same day, same people, same work. But you know, there isn’t much we can do by our own will. It make us feel helplessness. Why do we grow plants? As the saying goes, “He that plants trees loves others besides himself.” It is our why. This is very important to us. In the world, there are many things you can do. I want you can feel it. Everything is up to you!!!

In Sep 16-19, 2014 World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Summit
In Sep 18-19, 2015 Convention on the Renunciation and Cessation of War and International Armed Conflicts
In Nov 12-13, 2015 Committee meeting convenes to draft the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War
In March 14, 2016 New international law was proclaimed by HWPL International Law Peace Committee(more info). It was called DPCW(Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War). (DPCW is here)

Vision of Peace law : Step by Step

‘Legislate Peace Campaign‘ was active to present DPCW to the United Nations.(campaign page) Now 300,000 people is moving fast. For Peace! Finally, they call on world leaders and governments to develop and enforce a law based on the principles of the DPCW. They are passionate and strong. What happened for a year? ‘Legislate Peace’ was started from 2015 May. How many people are participated in?

Why ‘Legislate Peace Campaign‘? It is based on Article 10 “Spreading a culture of peace” I write it at the bottom. Actually the effect of culture is very powerful. It affects you unconsciously. To change the world was difficult, but that’s the easy bit. Why difficult? Why easy? If you want to change the world, it is hard. But if you change yourself, it is very easy!

DPCW Article 10 “Spreading a culture of peace”

1. States should recognize and engage with groups and organizations that seek to further the cause of peace as a global movement. States should facilitate such groups in their awareness-raising activities, including providing tuition in human rights and peace studies, as provided for, inter alia, in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 1999 UN Declaration on a Culture of Peace.

2. States should recognize that, in order to preserve a lasting culture of peace, public awareness of the need for, and value of, peace should be created. In this regard, states are encouraged to facilitate activities, commemorations, and initiatives that engage public consciousness with peace, including the erection of peace monuments as an alternative to war monuments.

3. Heads of state and heads of government should acknowledge that they are uniquely well placed to encourage a culture of peace, and should act to support this declaration to bring about the cessation of war.

4. States should promote a culture of peace including ensuring conditions in which-
(a) citizens are able to participate in the political affairs of the state as equals regardless of religious or ethnic differences;
(b) a free media is maintained which allows grievances to be aired and addressed;
(c) education is imparted to promote respect and mutual understanding among different religious, belief and ethnic groups;
(d) the right to development of peoples, including the achievement of the UN sustainable development goals, can be realized; and
(e) the well-being of all human kind with the participation of women and men to ensure peaceful coexistence amongst nations, states, and peoples may be guaranteed.
