On May 25, the “6th HWPL 525 Peace Walks” was held in 126 cities in 77 countries around the world including Australia, China, Germany, India, Russia, South Africa, the Philippines, and the United States of America.
Nearly 500 citizens from Washington, D.C. hosted a peace walk from the United States Capitol building to the U.S. Supreme Court building. Can you see them? They look excited. Especially, children. 🙂
“Knowing that you’re taking part in making the world a better place is an amazing feeling for any person,” said Danielle, a peace walk participant from Washington D.C.
“I walked for peace because I refuse to sit back as a bystander. I want to make history so that our future generation can be proud of our decision to take a stand for peace.”
“I think our differences are what unite us — it’s our strength,” says Michael Sarpong from Woodbridge, VA. “There is no religion, no nation that doesn’t want peace.”
A HWPL volunteer said, “That’s why we have all come together today to urge our elected officials — the public servants that have been put in position by the people and for the people — to support the DPCW. We all want the same thing.”
Since HWPL Peace Walks were held in 126 cities in 77 countries, the world’s media outlets are very interested. This can be seen as a huge flow of peace. Can anyone stop this? No one wants to, and no one can. Because the person who blocks it becomes the person who wants to go to war. A person’s voice can be powerless. But what if it’s tens of thousands of voices?
What if we have the power to bring it together? So HWPL ran a Peaceletter Campaign. Young people and Women sent letters of peace to the leaders of 192 countries. They will know that the world will change soon.
126 foreign media outlets in 77 countries around the world have promoted 6th HWPL Peacewalk, including Australia, China, Germany, India, the Philippines, Russia, South Africa, the United States.
It urged leaders of the countries to enact a “peace international law (DPCW)” to end war. On March, HWPL delivered “Peace Letters” written by 1.3 million people around the world to the heads of states and UN ambassadors in 192 countries. So that the DPCW could be introduced as a U.N. resolution to effectively guarantee world peace.
Peace Letter Campaign was started by IWPG and IPYG. Women are determined not to sacrifice their children any more in the war, and young people have begun sending letters to their leaders expressing their desire for peace as well as their will to protect themselves from the war. Last year, 200,000 letters of peace were delivered to the presidents of seven countries, including Jae-in Moon.
Especially, I really hope to see this fourth video. I really feel that peace is going to be achieved. If our thoughts become one, and our actions become one, what can stop us? No one can stop our desire for peace. Who would want to die? Who would want to lose their family to war? They say they start a war to protect their country, but… Before that, if we have a good heart, we can prevent many young people from dying without having a chance to blossom.
Dear Heads of Countries, I urge you to show your active commitment to achieving peace by responding to the letter of peace that expresses the desire of mankind. If you love your country and people as a representative of a country, I ask you to work together to ensure that the DPCW is submitted to the UN and thus establish a framework for world peace and end of war.
The task of the time is to create a world of peace and pass it on to future generations. To do this, we can achieve true peace only when we identify the answers to achieve peace through the peace process that HWPL is making and practice it as a messenger of peace. Let’s all be an “One Voice” for peace and achieve DPCW together. And let’s work together and join in drawing support and cooperation from the international community.
Since it’s going to be followed by the first episode, I hope you read the first episode.
“And with this young man, many people are more involved in this because they have discovered that DPCW’s hopes can be realized. So what is the basis of that conviction?”
“There are three main points: The first is the perfect configuration of the DPCW, which consists of a full resolution of the dispute. Based on world documents on human rights and peace, such as the Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, there are additional fundamental solutions to conflicts between religions and peoples, including ways to maintain a peaceful world through HWPL Peace Education and Spreading a Culture of Peace. So the DPCW has the perfect composition of conflict prevention, conflict mediation and securing sustainable peace.”
“The second is feasibility. DPCW is only three years old, but it is gaining tremendous support of citizens all over the world and support of the national level. It has received formal support from the Pan-African Parliament, a group of 55 African National Assembly speakers, a gathering of ministers and above-level officials from eight Pacific Islands, the Central American Parliament and the former presidents of Eastern Europe, as well as MOUs and official documents.
Also, when the Chairman Man Hee Lee introduced the DPCW at UN headquarters, delegates from 145 countries gave a standing ovation.”
“From a civil society perspective, more than 1.3 million citizens around the world support the DPCW with signatures and peace letters campaign. On March 14, citizens from all over the world wrote letters of peace and sent them to Presidents and Prime ministers of 192 countries to urge the need for DPCW and support from countries, and the media around the world reported it extensively, and the world cheered.”
“Finally, the power of the DPCW is the Chairman of HWPL, Man Hee Lee. Six years ago, when the new international law did not exist, he announced the “Declaration of World Peace” here. It included a his plan to create a new international law. Three years later, he announced the DPCW, the substance of the promise and he created the Peace Letter Campaign, which urges presidents around the world. The whole family in the world follows him, because he has a clear answer and leadership.
For example, no matter where he go on world peace tour, families of peace in neighboring countries gather to help and participate in Lee’s tour. When we see families of peace in each country running and putting everything aside to help Lee, we feel confident that he is a world leader who can change the world and lead people in one direction.”
“Ladies and gentlemen, this DPCW you’re seeing today is the hope of a global family and the power to change the world. To that end, this 6th 525 Peace Walk sent letters of peace to not only the president, but also the high-ranking leaders of the world at the same time. I’ve shown to the leaders how much citizens, who are masters of the country, want the DPCW because the President can’t move on only his own.
And today, in particular, we will take a peace walk with the wishes of each president to reply to the Peace Letter we sent around the world. The land where we take this step of peace will be transformed into a world of peace, and the sound of it will be a voice that changes the world.
Citizens around the world who are with us, HWPL, IPYG, will not stop our step until the President of each country hears and acknowledges the message, urging support for the DPCW.
Ladies and gentlemen, we will now serve the Chairman Man Hee Lee, the source of this power of peace. Check for yourself! The Chairman Lee declared it here, and made the work of peace. Come on, let’s run together.
Until our dreams come true. We are one! Thank you.”
On the day of the press conference that was attended by 57 media outlets from Korea, HWPL’s Chairman Man Hee Lee stated, “Everyone, despite being busy, by gathering here together like this I can understand that you have come with the same heart that believes peace is better than war. I sincerely ask you (members of the press) to focus on reporting and working hard so that peace can be achieved (in both Korea and the rest of the world)”.
Finally, in regard to the meaning of the 3rd anniversary of the proclamation of the DPCW, HWPL’s Chairman Man Hee Lee, explained, “It is to put an end to war around the world, and if there is no war, then the world of peace can be realized. That is why we want to achieve a world of peace that is free from war, which can then become a shining legacy for future generations. If you stop doing this for even a short while, then it will just cool down. We must do it until the time when it is completely finished. If it is done in this way, then you will not be still but will continue working hard.
One more thing, the cessation of war or the realization of peace are not things that are the personal work of a single person. If we are called as the family of the world, then it goes without saying that this is relevant to each one of us. If we truly value this world and ourselves and love the citizens of our own countries, then not only leaders but everyone should acknowledge this. It doesn’t make sense to not give unconditional support. If there is something wrong, then the reason must be stated clearly, but just refusing to do (without giving a reason) is not right. Do not be like that. If all us together become one in heart and have the same will, then we must create a world without war”.
He then directly addressed all the reporters and members of the press present stating, “Try reading the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the DPCW. All of this work will be done quickly only if the reporters take the lead. Please remember this,” reiterating the importance of the role that the media plays in the achievement of peace.
As the result of the 30th world peace tour was great, I am looking forward to the HWPL 31st World Peace Tour. These postings are the ones that I write one by one. If you look at them one by one, you can see the reason why experts said “HWPL is the most powerful international peace NGO”. Actually, HWPL is associated with UN DPI and ECOSOC.
Why is Mr. Man hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, supported by 3.7 billion women and 1.6 billion young men? Why is the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) proposed by HWPL the answer to peace?
At the 2nd of Apr., 2019 16:00 (GMT+3), 2019 PEACE EDUCATION Conference will be held in Romania. Regardless of differences in religious, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, HWPL is closely contributing to the leading for peace. How can we achieve peace? According to statistics of UNICEF, Over 10% of young women in 5 European countries experience sexual violence before age 15. #ENDviolence
Now, The role of Teacher and Peace Education is important more than ever. We are at the forefront in implementing peace education for children and the youth. Especially, Romania is the hometown of H.E. Emil Constantinescu, former president of Romania. He knows peace better than anyone else. I can’t help but admit it when I hear about his life. I wrote down his biography.

On February 18th, 2019, HWPL held a conference called‘Religious World Without Discrimination, Religious Leaders Becoming one’in Sydney, Australia. Along with about 370 audience members, 30 religious leaders representing 7 different denominations, including Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism and Caodaism, are gathered to discuss the Role of Religion.
Regarding the role of religious leaders in establishing a world of peace, Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL said, “I came to Australia to tell that the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) are necessary to make a world of peace and leave a legacy of peace for future generations. This is more important than anything else, and we have to all become peace messengers.”
During the conference, the theme of ‘religious discrimination’ was also discussed. 4 keynote speakers delivered messages regarding unfortunate cases of religious discrimination and the need for concrete action plans.
Especially, one pastor read a letter that will be sent to the United Nations Human Rights Council, “I am a Pastor working in Australia and Pakistan. Pakistan is a dominantly Muslim country where religious tension and discrimination exists. I understand how we must all work to bring about true harmony between people of different faiths and cultures. The acts of the Christian Council of Korea (CCK) in relation to Ms. Gu Ji-In who was killed in the aftermath of coercive conversion in Korea should never be ignored and what they do should be stopped.”
30 religious leaders signed the Statement Denouncing Coercive Conversion Programs and Religious Discrimination and proclaimed their support for the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW).
H.E. Hun Sen Prime Minister Royal Government of Cambodia Phnom Penh, Cambodia
March 9, 2019
Dear Prime Minister Hun Sen
I fully agree with you, the Prime Minister. You said that the history of the recent conflict in Cambodia was caused by foreign intervention. Your message seems to reflect the reality exactly. As a young man who went through the war in person at that time, I think you know better than anyone how painful it was.
I remember saying, “My youth has no peace, no happiness, one eye has a disability, and I’m sick and tired of the war and the parting of my loved ones.” Who dies in war? Youth! He is my friend and he is someone’s son.
As a young man, I’m very interested in peace. I’m from Korea, the only divided country in the world. Because of foreign intervention, which was two powerful powers, we became two countries, two peoples. In the tragedy of shooting at our own people, many young people had to die. The sound of gunfire, cannons, jets, and bombs split young people’ ears. Shot to death, Starved to death. This is the tragedy of the same race. Our country is still a divided country, and danger lurks.
So I could sympathize more with the suffering of the Cambodian people. There was a civil war by the end of the 1980s, and ‘foreign intervention’ is making the people more painful. Now, thanks to Prime Minister Hun Sen, Cambodia has achieved a lot of political stability, but shouldn’t there be a lasting peace? What can you give to future children as the best legacy? It is a lasting peace! I would like to speak to you about the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the “Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War” (DPCW) which has recently been supported as “Answer To Peace” by former and incumbent presidents, the National Assembly speaker, and so on.
One historian said “China, Russia and the U.S. tried to put the world’s countries in their political arena and provoked them with money, weapons and political assurance strategies.” I would like to talk to you about DPCW’s provisions that reflect the realities of Cambodia at the time when peace was desired more than anyone else.
DECLARATION OF PEACE AND CESSATION OF WAR
Article 1 – Prohibition of the threat or use of force
4. States should abstain from interference in the internal conflicts of other States.
Article 3 – Friendly relations and the prohibition of acts of aggression
1. In accordance with United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2625 (XXV), States should develop friendly relations based upon respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and should take appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace.
Article 4 – State boundaries
1. In accordance with United Nations General Assembly Resolution 2625 (XXV), every State has the duty to refrain in its international relations from military, political, economic, or any other form of coercion aimed against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State, or in any other manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations. This is without prejudice to instances when such forms of coercion may be lawfully applied, inter alia, to induce states to cease internationally wrongful acts, or when sanctioned by the United Nations Security Council.
3. Every state has the duty to refrain from any act of incitement, planning, preparation, initiation or commission of an act of aggression by a state, a group of states, an organization of states or an armed group or by any foreign or external entity, against the sovereignty, political independence and territorial integrity of any State.
Article 5 – Self-determination
2. Subject to the right to self-determination of peoples, states shall not engage in any intervention that seeks to divide or separate a state in a manner that is contrary to the rules of international law.
In particular, when it comes to “Killing Fields” where the Khmer Rouge regime forced or massacred nearly two million people (one third of its seven million people) for three years and seven months, the Solution is the Article 9 of the DPCW.
Article 9 – Religion, ethnic identity and peace
2. States should take measures to ensure that religious belief or ethnic identity are not utilised as a pretext for gross and systematic acts of violence. In circumstances where individuals or groups perpetrate or assist in such acts in the name of their religion, states should take adequate measures that lead to the prosecution and punishment of such activities.
The current international law cannot end conflict and war. This is because it is not legally binding. Thus, the “HWPL International Law Peace Committee”, which has gathered 21 renowned international law experts from all over the world, declared the DPCW to improve the problems of current international law. If the DPCW is presented as a resolution to the UN General Assembly and supported by two-thirds of the ambassadors, peace can be achieved.
HWPL, associated with UN DPI and ECOSOC, is risking their lives to leace peace as legacy to future generations with a definite answer to peace. On February 22, 2019, HWPL held a peace event with Cambodian supreme monk Tep Vong, during HWPL 30th World Peace Tour. If Cambodia has been harmed by the regime of genocide by ignorant people, please support HWPL peace education, which has signed an MOA with Ministry of Education of Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Cambodia, so that it may no longer be ignorant. This is to achieve the Article 10 of the DPCW, “Spreading a culture of peace.”
Peace event with Cambodian Supreme Monk Tep Vong
Prime Minister Hun Sen, if you really love the people and the country, please sign the DPCW! IPYG all over the world is urging presidents from around the world to sign the DPCW. In less than a year, 165,782 Peace Letters were collected. The Pan-African Parliament (PAP), which represents all citizens of 55 countries of the African Continent, the International Centre for Black Sea-Baltic Studies and Consensus Practices (Centre BBS), which consisted of former European Presidents, and 145 United Nations officials also supported the DPCW. Please support the DPCW to be introduced into the U.N. resolution and to be legally binding all over the world.
Why is the DPCW the answer to peace? The answer is in the “Civil Society”. That’s why HWPL is joined with the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG). At the Center of HWPL, there is Mr.Man Hee Lee who is a veteran of the Korean War and called the “Father of Peace”. He’s risking his life for old age and working for peace. That’s why 1.8 billion young people and 3.7 billion women all over the world support the Chairman Lee. If all citizens speak one voice in a single direction, which leader can ignore citizens? There is “No Citizen” who doesn’t want peace.
I heard from a Cambodian friend that because of the painful history of ‘Killing Fields,’ young people under the age of 30 now account for more than 70 percent of the total population. If peace can be established, Cambodia has the potential to become an advanced country more than any other country. Who would be the first to die in a war? It’s young people. These young men don’t want war, they want peace. I think maybe you don’t want to pass on “the youth of yours, when there is no peace and happiness.” But if you don’t take any action, we have no choice but to think you love war.
Prime Minister Hun Sen, if you make a right choice in this time of year, you will remain a lasting record for future generations, and the future will remember your name and praise you. Please reply.
Thank you for reading my peace letter.
Sincerely,
Ming Taylor Student of Medical School Sydney, Australia
3rd Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW)
“Civil Society’s Role for Peaceful Unification of the Korean Peninsula”
At the 14th of Mar., 2019 16:00pm (GMT+9), Youths from all over the world will send peace letters to 193 incumbent presidents and U.N. ambassadors. This peace event will be broadcast live on YouTube.
“Hurray for the independence of Korea! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!”
March 1st Movement Day in Korea
Every year on 1st of March, the Flag of South Korea (Hangul: 태극기) is placed everywhere in Korea. The March 1st Movement Day, also known as Sam Il Jeol (Hangul: 삼일절), can be seen as a symbol of the Korean Independence Movement. Korea was a colony of Japan from 1910 into 1945. The pain and sorrow of being a colony are beyond description.
At 2 p.m. on 1st of March, 1919, 33 ethnic representatives read out loud the Korean Declaration of Independence. The declaration, which begins with the following words, is truly touching. “We herewith proclaim the independence of Korea and the liberty of the Korean people.” What kind of feelings did people have at that time?
Massive crowds assembled in Pagoda Park to hear the declaration that a student, Jae-yong Chung, read publicly. He shouted “No power in this world can obstruct or suppress it!” Approximately 2,000,000 Koreans had participated in the more than 1,500 demonstrations. Were there no suppressors? No. 7,509 people killed, 15,849 wounded, and 46,303 arrested by the Japanese police force and army. As punishment, some of the arrested demonstrators were executed in public.
On Friday, all people of the Koreas commemorate the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Movement. President Moon Jae-in visited the graves of several key figures in the fight for Korean independence, and the government decided this week to honor freedom fighter Yu Gwan-sun with the country’s highest medal of honor, the Republic of Korea Medal.
Yu was only 16 when she attended the main March 1 gathering in Seoul, and she was arrested and died in prison at the age of 17. If you want to know more info here
The theme of the anniversary ceremony is “Let’s Open Another 100 Years Together,” a clear reference to South Korean Moon’s work to engage with the North. What does it mean? President Moon said “We are no longer in the periphery of history. I hope we will open a new era with pride and confidence that the strength to decide and open the next 100 years rests in us.”
Trump and Kim Jong Un & Moon Jae-in
How did the Trump-Kim summit go in Hanoi, Vietnam? On February 28, Trump and Kim left Hanoi abruptly without signing any sort of agreement. People are in shock. What happened? Many expected that one of the most likely things to come out of Hanoi would be an agreement to end the Korean War, which has been on pause for more than 60 years. It led many experts and lawmakers to heave sighs of relief, even as the summit’s abrupt finale raises questions about What’s Next?
But Moon Jae-in didn’t stop to hope. Because he love peace. He want to end the Korean War. Countless people do not want war, they want PEACE. If he truly love the people, he will strive for peace. He said “On April 27, both Chairman Kim Jong Un and I discussed joint projects to mark the 100th anniversary of the March First Independence Movement and to mark the founding of the provisional government, and our initiative was contained in the Panmunjeom Declaration.”
“If the South and North can share together the history of Korean independence, both will become much closer in their hearts,” he added.
What will happen in the future? I want to remember lives and spirits of each of those who sacrificed and devoted their lives to the independence of our country.
The next posting will cover the stories of people who work for them and work for peace.
The Messenger of Peace with Light “I saw the Light from him!”
During the HWPL World Peace Tour, there were often people who recognized at a glance that Chairman Man Hee Lee was the messenger of peace. Let me tell you the story of those who came to see the light.
1. During the HWPL 9th World Peace Tour in April 2014, the Chairman Lee and Peace Mission stepped off the plane to pick up their luggage, and a couple came and told them to take a picture of him. When asked “why?”, they said “I saw a big light on you, so I wanted to celebrate it because it’s mysterious.” The couple were religious leaders who led 300 churches in Mexico. The couple is currently working as HWPL ambassadors, currently, 556 HWPL ambassadors are working for peace, which also affected the spreading the culture of peace in Mexico.
2. During the HWPL 9th World Peace Tour, Brazilian lawyers and doctors came to take pictures with the Chairman Man Hee Lee. They first saw him at a seminar two days ago, and he was seen as a light among many religious leaders. They said “Two days ago, you appeared to be a light in the middle of religious leaders at the seminar. It’s like a dream to meet again.” Among them, women joined the IWPG right there.
3. During the HWPL 14th World Peace Tour, a rabbi met in New York also begged the Peace Mission to take a picture with him, saying he saw the light. And he promised to come to the 918 WARP Summit.
4. When HWPL went to a former European president’s house on a visit, they saw his wife at home very surprised and asked her why, and she said “There was no human being seen and a large image of light came in” when the Peace Mission entered.
This happens frequently during Man Hee Lee’s peace tour. This is another way for the Messenger of Peace to inform the people light of the “God is with him” and to continue the meeting that Heaven has been arranged.

Comparative Study on religious Scriptures
The WARP Office continued its steps to achieve harmony and peace with local religious leaders in the Philippines, Australia and Cambodia. For peace between religions, the WARP Office is now actively engaged in exchanges around scriptures in different countries, and is receiving favorable reviews as it creates an understanding ground for other religions. Recently, they have voiced their opinions on the ban on religious discrimination and the elimination of coercive conversion.
Participants of the forum said “In order to build peace between religions, we must find the most trustworthy scriptures and truths through the comparative study on religious scriptures, and in order to achieve this, we must continue to have conversations between religions.”
“This is the answer to the peace of religion.”
One president of the Islam society, who participated in the debate, “We should find and study the most reliable religious scriptures for peace between religions. We should try to accept them wholeheartedly, even if the scriptures are not his own religious scriptures.”
The WARP Office is currently held in 219 regions in 128 countries and is urging unity among religions. HWPL said “It is regrettable that religion is becoming an occasion for international conflicts. The comparative study on religious scriptures is a way to overcome differences in religion and find core values of mankind.”
Peace Message for the Implementation of Peaceful Religions
Date: At the 22nd of Feb., 2019 08:00 (GMT+7)
Cambodia Peacebuilding
Here, I wrote a posting about Cambodia’s history. Cambodia is a country with a lot of pain and suffering. The “Killing Fields” (Khmer: វាលពិឃាត) is where collectively more than a million people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge regime, during its rule of the country from 1975 to 1979, immediately after the end of the Cambodian Civil War.
Great Supreme Patriarch Tep Vong
He made an impressive speech. Even at many years of age, his desire to devote himself to the peace movement was like Gandhi. Many young people must respect him. He said “As a Supreme Patriarch, on behalf of the Cambodian Council of Religious Affairs, we welcome the visit of the Chairman Man Hee Lee. He is one of the most famous people in the world, who has brought together all the leaders of religion, state, education and law to create cooperation, and to bring peace to this time and to the future. Cambodia is a Southeast Asian country with many wars and sorrows the world has never seen.
But on January 7, 1979, the Democratic Kampuchea, Pol Pot‘s government, was collapsed. On 1998, the Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Cambodian People’s Party completely ended the civil war that was taking place in the Cambodian kingdom. So since 1998, Cambodia has had peace, and Cambodia has had many opportunities to develop its economy.
Cambodia has never had a religious conflict. According to Article 43 of the Cambodian Constitution, every Cambodian citizen has the right to follow the religion he or she wants. With the support of the government, all religions in the kingdom of Cambodia are holding religious meetings and communicating. For example, on February 6, 2019, the HWPL Religious Youth Peace Campwas organized in cooperation with IPYG.
I have been active in peace with Cambodian people for 40 years since 1979. I am currently engaged in peace activities, and I want to do peace activities in the future as long as my health permits. In order for future generations to live in a time of peace, we must work together to educate future generations to live in peace. Through this cooperation, I hope that we can end war and conflict in this world and that our future generations will live in peace forever.
Lastly, I hope that the four blessings of Buddha will be yours, Chairman Man Hee Lee, all distinguished guests and ladies. The 4 blessings are Life, beauty, happiness and power. Thank you.”
Chairman Man Hee Lee Peace Quotes
In particular, the Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL emphasized “Religion should do good and give hope to the world, but today’s religion is causing many wars and conflicts. Aren’t they doing worse than nonreligious people? That’s why the religious world must look for “the Truth“. All religious leaders around the world should participate in comparative study and discussions on religious scriptures. Religion will be one under the most reliable scriptures.”
His speech will be addressed in the next posting. The Chairman Lee is the messenger of peace with the answer to peace, and he spoke with all his heart. Despite his old age, he is risking his life for peace. That’s why he is supported by 1.6 billion Young people and 3.7 billion Women.
On September, 2018, the Peace Education Development Forum for Global Advancement was held. The Peace Education Project, which is one of the core initiatives of HWPL, was initially proposed as a groundbreaking way to achieve the realization of Article 10, “Spreading a Culture of Peace”, of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW). As a result, 164 schools in 12 countries have signed MOUs with HWPL.
On this day, ministers and vice ministers representing the Ministries of Education in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Guatemala and Iraq signed an MOA with HWPL and 30 schools in nine countries also signed an MOU simultaneously.
Chairman Lee of HWPL stressed the mission of global families to implement peace education: “This world is not only for adults but also for young children. War and conflict should no longer occur for children who are born in the future. There is a saying, “If the water above is pure, the water below will be pure”. Everyone in the global village should become a messenger of peace. Then our children will see the peaceful environment and learn from it naturally. If we walk all the way to peace together, the children who are born will also walk along the path of peace together, and peace will automatically be passed down as a legacy to future generations. There is no use in passing down a world of conflict.”
He also added, “Everyone has biological parents, but those who create their hearts are educators. I sincerely plea for educators to take the lead in creating a world of peace,” enlightening the educators who conduct peace education.
The Chairman Man hee Lee is a really powerful messenger of peace. It is why 3.6 billion Women and 1.8 billion Youth support him. Everything is up to you!
