Wow, what a global event! 🌐 This year, HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) hosted its 12th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace all over the world—from South Korea to the Netherlands, from Malaysia to dozens more countries!
- 🌍 10,000+ citizens + 1,600 public figures joined in
- 🎥 Events happened both offline (86 cities) and online (8 virtual spaces)
- 👟 The iconic Peace Walk returned, with people walking together for peace like one big family
And the best part? Everyone—from kids to elders, from students to public leaders—walked side-by-side with a shared dream: 🌿a world without war.
2. 📜 A Declaration that Keeps Inspiring
Did you know the Declaration of World Peace was first announced back in 2013? It happened right in front of the Peace Gate in Seoul with 30,000 youth cheering for peace! 🎉
The message back then was simple but powerful:
👉 “Let’s all become peace messengers!”
Every year since then, cities around the world have hosted Peace Walks and events to keep that dream alive. And this year was no different! 💪
3. Korea’s Special Campaign: Peaceful Unification on the Horizon
South Korea added a beautiful twist to the celebration 🕊️💞
Under the theme “Future of Peace and Prosperity: Free Travel on the Korean Peninsula,” peace events were held in 12 major Korean cities like Seoul, Daegu, Busan, and Jeonju.
- 🚉 People joined in Peace Train experiences from Seoul Station to Pyongyang Station
- 📝 Families wrote heartfelt messages and letters hoping for reunification
