Mr.Man Hee Lee, the chairman of HWPL, and the peace mission spread peace throughout the world with the answer to peace in the eastern country of Korea.

Starting in 2012, and continuing his world peace tour until now in 2018, the Chairman Man Hee Lee has toured 70 countries in a total of 29 times. The messenger of peace went to anywhere, such as war zones where bullets flew in and out or places where armed rebels, if they needed peace. How can he work so passionately? Because he said “In this time, I am convinced that making peace is what heaven had commanded me, and that I can achieve peace.”

All expenses were covered with HWPL’s money, without anyone’s support. The steps he has taken so far are enough to believe that the Messenger of Peace will end all wars and achieve world peace. The Chairman Man Hee Lee’s journey around the globe is revolutionary and important, but it is too vast to record all of it, so I will only give you a glimpse of the unusual.

Now, he is now on the HWPL 30th World Peace Tour. The peace mission is heading for Cambodia beyond the Philippines and Australia.

HWPL is warmly welcomed wherever it goes. On the day the envoys arrive in each country, the airport is packed with young people and local residents who voluntarily gather after hearing the news of HWPL’s visit. Because everyone in the world is hungry for a dream “Peace” that has never been achieved in the history of the global village.

So many young people follow the Chairman Man Hee Lee as the ‘Father of Peace.’ And from the moment when HWPL comes to the moment when if flies to another, governments accord them the treatment of a national guest to show their support for the HWPL’s peace activities.

What is the Answer to Peace? DPCW!

Only proclaimed three years ago, more than 700,000 citizens from 176 countries signed autographs to support the DPCW. And more than 500 DPCW supporting events were held in more than 74 countries. The DPCW, loved by national support and young people around the world, is moving toward a resolution by the United Nations General Assembly. As a developing country, Southeast Asia is now facing a lot of difficulties in joining the developed world. It is essential that peace be achieved for development. Peace enables us to achieve sustainable goals.

The 10 Articles and 38 Clauses of the DPCW will actually achieve world peace. If all of leaders of all Southeast Asian countries show their support for the DPCW to the heads of state and officials, world peace will be achieved soon. And on March 14, All Youth’ll send handwritten peace letters to leaders around the world to ask you to support the DPCW, We can change not only Southeast Asia but the whole world.

2019 South-East Asia Peace Forum

Mr. Man Hee Lee, the Chairman of HWPL, strongly said “I’m here today to ask you very strongly. In order for us to live in peace, we believe that all the people of today’s globe must make efforts for peace. I don’t think it’s a matter of waiting for someone to bring it. Wouldn’t it be better to make peace than any power or substance and leave a legacy for future generations? But what has changed? Has peace been achieved? Each day, the war got worse, the conflict got worse, and the global community was threatened. Do you still just watch it?

But now it was different. The sky is not just looking at the human race. Give the answer to peace, and make peace. The answer is the 10 Articles and 38 Clauses of the DPCW. I want to ask all the politicians and intellectuals around the world. If anyone thinks this doesn’t end the war, you must said “This cannot end the war because of this problem, so let’s discuss together.” Isn’t it so? If there is an answer to be able to end the war and you are not interested in it, would it be real politics? What are you waiting for? It’s like you’re waiting for a war.

I has traveled around the globe a few times. But there was no one who was against peace. And there was no one who liked war. Isn’t that what every family in the world wants? So what do the leaders of each country want? Shouldn’t we do what the people want? All the students and young people in each country will stand up more and more.

No amount of power or money is enough for your children to live well. The conditions for a well-being are to create a world of peace without war and to leave a legacy, which is what we have to do today. You have more knowledge and experience than me. I think you can do it. I sincerely hope that you will do so. Thank you.”

Why do you think peace is necessary? What does peace mean to you? Is the current world peaceful? This is likely to vary depending on the country you live in and what you see and hear.

But there are people who risk their lives for peace. I can’t figure out how many rounds they’ve traveled around the globe at their own expense. It is the HWPL Peacebuilding Story, a peace organization recognized by prominent people around the world. Former and incumbent presidents, Supreme Court chiefs, group leaders and journalists are joining the HWPL and spreading the culture of peace around the world.

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE HWPL 30th World Peace Tour: IWPG World Peace conference #1 WorldPeaceConference Philippine Man Hee Lee IWPG HWPL Peacebuilding Story HWPL chairman Lee 30th_Peacetour

This is also possible with the presence of HWPL chairman, Mr. Man Hee Lee. People asked “Why are you risking your life for a peace movement?” It is related to his biography. He was a Korean War veteran. So, he knows better than anyone the pain of war and the suffering of countless children in the country. He knows the pain of war and the suffering of countless children in the country better than anyone. This is why he is supported by 1.6 billion young people and 3.7 billion women.

So far, the HWPL’s movement is more substantial and powerful than any other peace organization. Check out the official site and other postings.

VISION

World peace to end the war

Human beings have the right to be happy, and they are born to be happy. But the global village is hurting each other with disputes, conflicts, and wars, and human rights and life are being threatened. Every woman has a spirit of service of mother and sacrifice to create a world of happiness for all families.

Women around the world become one of the many lives that are sacrificed in the war, especially those who are hyisaengdang at the forefront of the battlefield, to keep their children out of the ‘ end of war ‘ movement and to create a peaceful global village.

MISSION

I would like to instill a sense of “peace” for people around the world, and work with women leaders and international women groups worldwide to practice a warm “mother’s Love” where peace is needed.

HWPL Cambodia Peacebuilding

Why Cambodia?

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE HWPL Cambodia Peacebuilding Peace education Peace Man Hee Lee Killing Fields Khmer Empire HWPL Cambodia Peacebuilding HWPL Cambodia DPCW chairman Lee Cambodian Genocide

Cambodia is located in Southeast Asia, bordering Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. Cambodia is famous for the Angkor Wat temple, that have built for Hindu religion during Khmer Empire. (officially the Angkor Empire) Now, the temple is part of Angkor World Heritage Site and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the world. At its peak, the Khmer empire (802-1431) covered much of what today is Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and southern Vietnam.

However, there was a great tragedy in this flourishing culture. The Cambodian Killing Fields (Khmer: វាលពិឃាត) are a number of sites in Cambodia where collectively more than a million people were killed and buried by the Khmer Rouge regime, during its rule of the country from 1975 to 1979, immediately after the end of the Cambodian Civil War.

The killing fields document death. From 1975 to 1979, Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouge soldiers killed 1.7 million Cambodians, or 21 percent of the population, according to Yale University’s Cambodia Genocide Program. Maybe, it is the reason why the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) signed a MoU with HWPL to introduce Peace education nationwide and develop relevant policies and programs.

How did Cambodian Genocide end?

The Fall of the Republic of Democratic Kampuchea. On December 25, 1978, Vietnam launched a full-scale invasion of Cambodia and on January 7, 1979, Phnom Penh fell and Pol Pot was deposed.

What was the purpose of the Cambodian Genocide?

Ideology. Ideology played an important role in the genocide. Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge aimed to bring Cambodia back to its “mythic past” of the Powerful Khmer Empire, to stop corrupting influences like foreign aid and western culture, and to restore the country to an agrarian society.

Ideology can be solved through education. It is the reason why Cambodia wants to cooperate with HWPL.

Phnom Penh – The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport together with International Peace Organization and the inauguration of the HWPL Peace Building Department on February 14, 2019 RUPP. H.E. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, said “Peace education of HWPL was also considered and included in the curriculum of schools in Cambodia.”

As a result, 164 schools in 12 countries have signed MOUs with HWPL.

Particularly, the Ministry would like to request HWPL’s assistance in the writing of books on peace education, its teaching methodology, the training of peace educators, and activities to spread a culture of peace in education sector in Cambodia. There was also a presentation of successful cases from teachers and education experts who were first in recognizing the excellence of HWPL’s peace education and have been at the forefront in implementing peace education for children and the youth.”

So, peace-loving 1,000 Korean youths gathered for the unification of the two Koreas. The event is held under the theme of “Youth pictures the peaceful future for the Korean peninsula”. In search of the role of civil society to create a unified Korea with peaceful means, “North And South, Let’s Be “Us” Again” was held with 1,000 participants at the Grand Hilton Hotel in Seoul, South Korea on February 9th.

There is no chance for a nation without history and culture. We take the lead in unification issues to leave a legacy for future generations, which can be attained by participation in IPYG peace projects.”

HWPL PHOTO/4th WARP Summit

These are the speeches given by the many presidents who passionately spoke regarding their support of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) and some of the important methods for its adoption to the UN at the 2018 HWPL World Peace Summit.

H.E. Samuel Sam Sumana, Former Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, said “Speaking out against inequality and social injustices during his Rivonia Trial on 20 April 1964, Nelson Mandela stated ‘I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live and achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.’

Your Excellencies, Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen, the “Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War‟ could not have come at a better time than this. Let me take this opportunity to thank Chairman Man Hee Lee for this brilliant, timely and history making initiative. The world will always remain grateful. Thank you Sir.

Your Excellencies, for this declaration to leave its footprints on the sands of time, make a positive difference in the lives of ordinary people, take hope where there is despair, promote love where there is hate, it has to be owned and led by national and local actors in every country across the world. A bottom-up approach has to be employed to get states and their citizens buy into, own and lead the process.

To ensure this, a set of people committed to global peace and security have to be mobilized to constructively engage members states in ensuring that this declaration is adopted by the United Nations. However, the essence of this declaration should not be limited to its adoption by the UN but rather to help transform mind-sets and change the conversations and narratives around global peace and security.

Countries adopting the declaration have the moral responsibility to engage its citizens and global actors on the inextricable links between global peace and security and the respect for human rights, the rule of law and human dignity. The secretariat of the DPCW should also establish platforms through which dialogue, synergy and harmonization of efforts would be promoted at the Inter-governmental, national and local levels.

We should not fail in this drive, we have to succeed and we must succeed. I therefore call on all global political and religious leaders across the world, to do their utmost to ensure the adoption of the 10 Articles and the 38 Clauses of the Declaration, at the United Nations.”

HWPL PHOTO/Man Hee Lee Quotes

On September, 2018, the Peace Education Development Forum for Global Advancement was held. The Peace Education Project, which is one of the core initiatives of HWPL, was initially proposed as a groundbreaking way to achieve the realization of Article 10, “Spreading a Culture of Peace”, of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW). As a result, 164 schools in 12 countries have signed MOUs with HWPL.

On this day, ministers and vice ministers representing the Ministries of Education in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Guatemala and Iraq signed an MOA with HWPL and 30 schools in nine countries also signed an MOU simultaneously.

Chairman Lee of HWPL stressed the mission of global families to implement peace education: “This world is not only for adults but also for young children. War and conflict should no longer occur for children who are born in the future. There is a saying, “If the water above is pure, the water below will be pure”. Everyone in the global village should become a messenger of peace. Then our children will see the peaceful environment and learn from it naturally. If we walk all the way to peace together, the children who are born will also walk along the path of peace together, and peace will automatically be passed down as a legacy to future generations. There is no use in passing down a world of conflict.”

He also added, “Everyone has biological parents, but those who create their hearts are educators. I sincerely plea for educators to take the lead in creating a world of peace,” enlightening the educators who conduct peace education.

The Chairman Man hee Lee is a really powerful messenger of peace. It is why 3.6 billion Women and 1.8 billion Youth support him. Everything is up to you!

“I don’t think peace is a story that is far away from us. If you look at the news on the internet, there should be no more news of war and terrorism that is occurring around the world. Unless peace is achieved, we, our children, and even our future generations, cannot escape from the threat of war and violence.”

“However, it is not the work that anyone can do alone. You and I, together with the voices and opinions of many others, must come together and join forces for peace. Through this I believe that we can protect our world from war and terror. I hope more people will join the Supporters ONE and run together with the hope of peace. HWPL Peacebuilding with Man Hee Lee

What is Peacebuilding?

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE HWPL Peacebuilding with Man Hee Lee Philippines peacebuilding Man Hee Lee HWPL Peacebuilding HWPL Culture_of_Peace chairman Lee

In Wikipedia, Peacebuilding is an approach to an entire set of interrelated efforts that support peace. And as other definition, Peacebuilding is a process that facilitates the establishment of durable peace and tries to prevent the recurrence of violence by addressing root causes and effects of conflict. (Ref) It seems to have a literal meaning.

It is difficult to achieve peace, but there have been many international efforts. First, the UN was founded at October 24, 1945 and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly at its third session on 10 December 1948. And now we’re trying to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that we’re going to achieve by 2030. What do you think of the current peace? Are you satisfied?

Perhaps, the answer depends on your current state of affairs. It would be the same for anyone to answer. But there are some people who didn’t. People who need to get rid of war in this global village. People who sacrifice themselves to achieve peace. Those who want to enact a new international law, saying that the UN should not forget its original spirit. Who are they?

HWPL Peacebuilding Story

They are the members of HWPL. It’s a HWPL Peacebuilding Story.

It had 30,000 participants including social representatives in the Philippines and Volunteer Individuals for Peace (VIP) by Dr. Ronald Adamat, CHED’s Commissioner and Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL. Why do they get together?

They want to launch nationwide peace movement throughout the Philippine’s State Universities and Colleges. A HWPL Official said “The highlight of this peace event is to give inspiration of citizen participation in peacebuilding. Cultural performances will represent harmony under peace beyond differences in ethnicity, religion or nationality. Also, the principles of peacebuilding with civic participation and national support will be introduced – the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW).”

Because the CHED and Dr. Adamat helped a lot. Last January 2018, Commissioner of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and HWPL signed an MOU to promote peace education throughout public colleges nationwide. The Chairman Man Hee Lee emphasized “We should think of how we can achieve peace. It should start by teaching peace to the youths.”

At the 2018 HWPL World Peace Summit: 4th Anniversary of the WARP Summit, HWPL signed MOU with renowned organizations such as the International Centre for Black Sea-Baltic Studies and Consensus Practices, the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization (ISACCL), and other organizations to which Eastern European heads of state belong.

H.E. Gennady Burbulis, Former State Secretary of Russia and President of Baltic-Black Sea Forum, said “Creating a peace culture is a difficult road we must travel until peace becomes stabilized, but at the same time, it will help people to find inner harmony and to fit their lives to the stars in the sky and to the work of humanity.

Regardless of age, position, or field, the work that we are doing will play a pivotal role in actualizing peace through the power of communities. And I believe that that actualization of peace within communities is very well reflected in the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW).

In order to fulfill this goal, we must look at this on a global scale, not on the scale of individual nations,. As long as the foundation is still unstable, we cannot ensure the success of today nor tomorrow. This is why peace is so closely tied to dignity. I am sure that the DPCW needs to be and will be as historical as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”
