It is a slogan of 2017 World Youth Festival. It takes place in Gwangju, Korea from Aug. 4 to Aug. 6. Originally I went to Australia to study abroad. In summer vacation, I came to my hometown. I’ll show you things I actually taken. You might be surprised by their energy.

Who created this festival? Who participated in this festival? Youth! But It is not made to eat and just play. I think this festival want to say somethiing. As I see it, it want to make ‘new culture’. “Youth can do it! Not only just do, but also do very well!” There are many lethargic young man who lose their will. They think “What can I do? It is nothing.” I was like that at one time. But now, this is notime to keep still. There are many young people our age in all over the world. What do they think? It may be different. Can you hear?
There is a someone who worry for a living, who are afraid of crimes and who are angry at enemy that kill my comrade. But we are one! We should help each other. This is why Youth cry out Peace! The war must be done away. Politics seem to start most wars. But Politician don’t go to war. Who go to? It is Youth! Youthkill each other. Who died? It is Youth! Not Politician. Why do we fight? For country…? Can you say it is for country? Ask to your conscience. We want to achieve PEACE! We Are One!
Didn’t you see a lot of green around? It is a 2017 color of the year. “Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the hope we collectively yearn for amid a complex social and political landscape, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone’s color consulting arm, said. What is Pantone? It determines the color trend of the world. Fashion, beauty and many industries are affected. Greenery is symbolic of “new beginnings” What does it mean to you?

It’s meaning is very cool. I feel like it is same as ‘breeze’. Is it time to start something before? Are you planning a trip? Aren’t your heart throbbing with joy? Revitalize! It maybe a mission of the young people. Have you ever think color of the peace is what? I think it fits well ‘greenery‘ I will name it a ‘Greenery peace color‘. In 2007, he won the Britain’s Got Talent with Nessun Dorma. He have many key words. A cell phone salesman, shabby appearance, Poverty and bullying, car accident, tumor surgery and opera singer. The situation is difficult, but he hasn’t given up hope yet. Scraping a living, he forget the reality with singing. A lot of people are moved by his songs. Even if someone say the same thing, Impression depends on who he is. That’s why people are teary. I want to say it “Paul Potts hope”
Why ‘Nessun Dorma’?
It is an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini‘s operaTurandot. It is sung by Calaf who falls in love at first sight with the beautiful but cold Princess Turandot. Calaf exclaim victory! with death threats to achieve ‘love’. In the aria, Calaf expresses his triumphant assurance that he will win the princess. He‘s full of himself. Likewise, Paul Potts has a dream. That’s why he sing this song.(my guess) He cry out “vincerò!!!“. And then, he was triumphant.

Korea was under Japanese colonial rule from 1910 until 1945. What do we need to think? As I was a child, I’m very angry with Japan. Why? They raped, killed and pillaged innocent villagepeople. How could you do that! What did I do wrong? Korea was weak. Is it a sin? Nope. But after I got older, I realized that I’m in a temper callowly. The target of anger was wrong. Also, it is the most important to know how to get angry. And people are naturally mature. I’m really like someone who is awake. For example, I admire ‘Korean Independence activist’.

If you can’t feel their breath, emotion and spirit, you see nothing. Actually, I want to try more to feel. If they now were born, it would be the same age with us. But how about us? What are we living for? College students these days, including me, study for a living. Even I don’t know who is my enemy. Why am I living? Why didn’t I do like ‘Korean Independence activist’? Why were’t I passionate like them? What is my cause? I have a lot of thinking.
I actually can’t sing a song well. So, I don’t know how to relieve stress. Many things happened in the world. There is a cold wanton murder! The resentment festered in victim’s mind. Her family was really more painful. Because they can’t understand anything. That murderer said “I don’t know. Just I’m very angry.” There is a thought offender, not only a personal crime. If you watch the movie, you know what I’m saying. Do you have any specialhobbies? I want a DJing Hobby. The movie’s music is catching the eyes and ears. It is a way to be the best ‘DJ’. It also include romance. The topic of this movie is to make your own sound. It is like hearing the sound of soul. You really should know about yourself. Then, you can walk your way. It can be your life!

Do you know a ‘gap year project’? Before entering college, many students take a gap year! Internationally it has been known well but in Korea no one doesn’t know. ‘Gap year’ is a year’s break that aimed at promoting a mature outlook with which to absorb the benefits of higher education.(wiki) In Korea college students suffered ‘freshman syndrome‘.Because problem of employment is too painful.They forget all with drinking. Even they didn’t know what they wanted to do.
History of Gap year project
The gapyearbegan in the United Kingdom in the 1960. When it was successfully introduced in England, Ireland introduced it as a ‘transition year’. European countries began to introduce it because of higher participation and satisfaction. Harvard University, MIT and Princeton University introduced it to prevent a drop out. Why do they drop out? Because they can’t find their career aptitude. What is the result? It is very nice and they are full of confidence. As a result, college recommend it before entering.
Is it a Real ‘Gap year’?
The Gap year is a very good idea. But is it a real gap year? Don’t you travel for break or memory? I don’t say it is bad. Honestly, What is the difference between overseas study and gap year? Can you make it different? It’s up to you!
What am I? Why do I exist? What is my work? What is my mission? An incident that make us think occurred in Korea. There were floods in various parts of the city. But four provincial member go to foreign country for study for 10 days. Stops are Paris, Avignon, Nice, Firenze and Milano and etc. They got a beating by a group of public opinion. Because their province had the worst flood damage in 22 years. Role of congressman Korean comes to fore. They wereexpelled from their party. I think it may be a little harsh. But Humble yourself.
