In Incheon, over 300 attendees — including leaders, youth, and citizens — gathered for a powerful peace lecture. They explored how unity on the Korean Peninsula could be the starting point of a brighter future. A speaker reminded the crowd that peace isn’t only about politics; it’s about security, prosperity, and the lives of future generations.

One youth participant emphasized that “peace begins with connection,” and called for young people to raise their voices and take part in peacebuilding. The audience ended the event by singing “Our Wish Is Unification” together — a beautiful moment of shared hope. 🎶

In Gangneung, HWPL hosted a deep dive into Buddhist teachings, welcoming people of different faiths to learn and share together. Over two sessions, the audience explored themes like the Eightfold Path and the Six Paramitas — lessons about kindness, wisdom, and discipline.

The guest speaker emphasized that, even though beliefs may differ, a peaceful heart connects us all. Many attendees found new respect and understanding for each other’s traditions, showing how true peace is built through learning, not judging. ✍️

💗 Warm Hearts in Gimhae: Health and Peace for Cambodian Residents

Down south in Gimhae, something very special happened. About 80 Cambodian residents came for a free health check-up. But beyond physical health, the event focused on mental and emotional care as well. HWPL set up a booth sharing peace education, helping visitors reflect on their self-worth and value.

Every participant said they would gladly join peace education programs in the future. The Cambodian Embassy expressed strong support for HWPL’s mission and offered to collaborate more. That’s what happens when peace meets kindness. 💡

🌍 Man Hee Lee’s Global Vision Through Local Action

From temples to city halls, from lectures to health centers — HWPL’s peace efforts continue to grow under the guidance of the Chairman Man Hee Lee. His leadership has shown that peace is not just a theory, but something we live out in small acts of care and connection every day.

This is peace in motion — powered by dialogue, built on understanding, and guided by hope.

💬 Final Note: Peace begins when we truly see one another — not as strangers, but as neighbors. Let’s keep walking the path of peace, together. ❤️

Peace Begins with a Broom: Lusaka Citizens Unite to Clean Up Crime!

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE Peace Begins with a Broom: Lusaka Citizens Unite to Clean Up Crime! Lusaka HWPL Zambia hwpl volunteer 2025 DPCW Legislate Peace Program

Key Point:
Over 300 citizens in Lusaka came together to clean up the city and promote peace—proving that a clean street can lead to a safer and kinder world!

Peace Begins with a Broom: Lusaka Citizens Unite to Clean Up Crime

  • Over 300 people joined HWPL Zambia’s street cleanup to promote peace
  • The event used the Broken Window Theory to show how cleanliness can lower crime
  • Celebrities, youth, and officials stood side by side for a peaceful city
  • Six peace ambassadors were appointed and peace signs raised as lasting symbols
  • Peace education in schools and future cleanups are on the horizon

1. Clean Street = Safe City? Yup! Let’s Talk Broken Windows

Did you know that a messy street might lead to more crime? That’s the idea behind the Broken Window Theory. If a window stays broken or trash piles up, it gives off a message that no one cares… and that could invite trouble! But when 300+ Lusaka citizens rolled up their sleeves and cleaned Lumumba Road, they showed the opposite—We care, and we want peace!

HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) organized this Clean Up, Crime Down activity, not just to make the street sparkle, but to spark change.

2. A Community Marches Together… with Brooms!

Starting at 9 a.m., the volunteers were briefed and off they went! Some were government folks, others were youth leaders, peace activists, and even artists. One rapper joined too—cool, right? Miss Earth Zambia 2023 also stepped in, sharing how a clean place feels peaceful, while messy places make people nervous or even scared.

And guess what? She was right! The freshly cleaned area felt so inviting, she literally said, I feel safe because it’s clean.

3. Not Just Cleaning—They Planted Peace

This wasn’t just about sweeping. The group raised a big sign with Article 10 of the DPCW: Spreading the Culture of Peace. 📜 That’s a promise to keep peace growing like a seed in Lusaka. They also appointed 6 new peace ambassadors!

Peace isn’t just an idea—it needs people, signs, reminders, and action. One of the city officials said it best: When people realize cleanliness is their personal responsibility, peace naturally follows. 💡🙌

4. What’s Next? Peace in Schools, More Cleanups & YOU!

This event isn’t a one-time thing. HWPL plans to bring peace education into schools 🏫 so that kids grow up thinking, Peace is normal! They’ll also keep expanding Peace Street, with more cleanups, more education, and more love for the city. 🌍

And this is where YOU come in—yes, you reading this! You don’t have to wait for a big event. Start small:

  • Pick up a wrapper
  • Say kind words
  • Teach peace to your friends

Just like in Lusaka, peace starts with little choices—and sometimes with just one broom!

Let’s all make our cities cleaner, safer, and full of peace. Because a peaceful world? It begins with us.
