Is your hobby walking? A person who walks more than 30 minutes a day is definitely more likely to be healthy. It can absorb vitamin D, makes you feel much better, and helps with blood circulation.
I think each person has a different reason to walk. Someone walks for health, someone for enlightenment, and someone to shake off negative emotions.
There are people walking for peace right here. As one of the peace lovers, I’m also walking, pondering why they walk.
On May 25 this year, people started walking offline again. I’ve been interested in the people of hwpl for a long time, they proceeded online during the COVID-19.
I’ve seen countless people in Santiago walking for their own enlightenment, someone for sightseeing. But many of the people walking for peace seem to be hwpl people.
HWPL’s 10th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walk
There are so many pictures of them on the blog so far. Sometimes when I look back at the gallery, it’s even touching.
Why on earth do they walk? What drives them?
Why do people in HWPL get together especially more often? I think it is because there is a centripetal force that strongly gathers them.
I think it is because there is the chairman Lee Man-hee, a soldier who experienced the Korean War and shouted for peace while touring around the world more than 30 times, and he tries to achieve peace without a break even at the age of 90.
If someone like the chairman lee man-hee takes the lead, can you stay still? How passionate he is!
If you have a chance someday, I hope you listen to him. There is a powerful force in what he says.

You can hear it here. I think it is best to experience peace in person. If you don’t experience it in a small moment in your daily life, I think you can never achieve the peace that is ideally expressed.
On the same day, various areas in the Philippines held simultaneous events in partner schools and communities particularly in Cavite, Laguna, Lucban, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija and Cotabato City.
It is no exaggeration to say that war has coexisted with mankind since the beginning of civilization until now. ‘World peace’ has become a more unfamiliar word than ‘WAR’, and everyone wants world peace but no one thinks it is possible.
Can we really achieve a world of peace without war? Documentary ‘The Great Legacy’ begins with this question. The documentary crew of the past two years have met Mindanao, the Philippines, who is actually at peace.
Mindanao, the Philippines, where gunshots were always heard, was a representative conflict area in the Philippines. The conflict between religion and ethnicity, which began in the Spanish colonial period, was so deep that it was thought to be difficult to resolve.
The distrust and hostility, in people’s minds, that grew in the painful process of negotiations that lasted for more than 40 years were scarier than flying bullets.
In such Mindanao, people began to melt weapons to make farming tools, and a procession of 10,000 people eagerly crying for peace filled the streets. This scene was more surprising than anyone else in the Philippines.
What’s even more surprising is that it started with a Korean peace activist who allowed them to join hands for peace and collect distrust, which was scarier than fighting.
They call him the “Messenger of Peace,” who gave peace and hope that no one could solve. Those who are expanding peace across the Philippines now ask you that question.
“Do you really want a world of peace?”

Burundi is blessed with an abundance of tea and coffee plantations. But this country is struggling to emerge from a 12-year, ethnic-based civil war. Since independence in 1962 it has been plagued by tension between the usually-dominant Tutsi minority and the Hutu majority.
Is there any movement for peace?
The 1st Burundi Peace Education Seminar
The 1st Burundi Peace Education Seminar, hosted by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light, was held on January 11, at Rehoboth School in Burundi Bujumbura.
A total of 22 people participated in the seminar, including the principals and teachers of the Rehoboth School, Le Dauphin, Lycée communal of Cashi and Ecole Oasis des Anges. The theme of the event was “Discounting the Pilot Training for the Peaceful Education of Burundi in 2019 and Sharing the plan for 2020.”
“HWPL peace education serves as a global platform aimed at leaving peace as a legacy to future generations by raising the awe of building peace from citizens around the world and challenging threats from war and violence by promoting a culture of peace. Because all mankind is weak and imperfect, HWPL peace education teaches us how to understand and forgive others” said Hatungimana Liévain, a teacher of the Rehoboth School and Lycée communal of Cashi.
In response to the seminar, Emmanuel Ndayishimiye, the principal of Ecole Oasis des Anges, said, “We have agreed that peace is priceless and therefore, peace education is to be taken seriously in our schools.”
Thank you all very much. Let’s all play our roles in our respective positions.
Turkey has a very diverse culture that is a blend of various elements of the Turkic, Anatolian, Ottoman and Western culture and traditions. Also, Turkey is not the only country in the world that is famous for its beautiful textiles, but only Turkey has Tulu, an amazing shop with a myriad of exceptionally colorful goods. Turkish culture is a product of efforts to be a “modern” Western state, while maintaining traditional religious and historical values.
The news of peace is also heard in Turkey, which is so beautiful.
Türk Gençler Sultanahmet’te Barış Etkinliği Düzenledi
The event took place in cooperation with the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and HWPL, under the leadership of the Chairman Man Hee Lee. In the event, historical beauties such as Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia were in the middle of the square. The participants painted the Turkish flag and showed their support for the peace campaign. Turkey was also performed simultaneously with similar events in many places in the world.
Stating the importance of DPCW, the Chairman Man Hee Lee said, “DPCW represents the will of global citizens. Societies want to be at peace and to live together in peace. This declaration advocates that everyone should build peace. The DPCW’s 10 articles and 38 clauses provide the basis for the peace of all world communities.”
About Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW)
The DPCW dates back to South Korea, where 150,000 people called for and participated in the Peace Letter Campaign. The declaration focuses on resolving conflicts in many regions around the world through international cooperation. It is also stated that the implementation of international law is of critical importance for achieving world peace and spreading the culture of peace.
The Chairman Man Hee Lee said “HWPL will do its utmost to make 2020 a year of great leaps toward peace.
The 10 articles and 38 clauses of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), a solution for peace, are awaiting submission to the UN General Assembly, to realise a peaceful world without war through international law, please become a messenger of peace, transcending nationality, ideology, and religion.
Please introduce the DPCW and urge support for it. With its family of peace, HWPL is creating an eternal legacy of peace and cessation of war for generations to come. The year 2020 will be a year that goes down in history.”
Do you know why people say ‘Mr.Man Hee Lee is a messenger of peace’? Because he has the definite answer to peace. He is a Korean War veteran, knows the horrors of war than a person ever knew. In his biography, “I struggled to survive. The sounds of guns, cannons, jets, and bombs did not stop for one second. The heavens, the earth, and my heart trembled, and the sky was filled with smoke.” So the Chairman Lee is running really hard for Peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Also, he is the chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace and Restoration of Light (HWPL). HWPL is an international peace nonprofit organization registered with the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI) and the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
I’m living happily these days. Because it is a university vacation!
These days, I am very interested in startups and AI, and I am happy to read a lot of books. And I recently paid for Netflix, too!
Let’s talk a little bit later, and a letter arrived. Shall we read it together?
Dear family of peace around the globe
I am Man Hee Lee, Chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL).
A hopeful, new morning of the year 2020 has come.
With all sincerity, I wish all family of peace a Happy New Year filled with hopes and blessings.
Over the past year, we have accomplished together more than any other year for the realization of peace and harmony. All the outcomes would not have been possible without your dedication and hard work for the global community and future generations despite the difficult circumstances. Once again, I humbly thank everyone for working together.
HWPL will do its utmost to make 2020 a year of great leaps toward peace. The 10 articles and 38 clauses of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), a solution for peace, are awaiting submission to the UN General Assembly. To realize a peaceful world without war through international law, please become a messenger of peace, transcending nationality, ideology, and religion. Please introduce the DPCW and urge support for it. With its family of peace, HWPL is creating an eternal legacy of peace and cessation of war for generations to come.
The year 2020 will be a year that goes down in history.
Our wishes and efforts for the global community and future generations will become a great light that shines on the whole world. The waves of peace will cover the world, and the culture of peace that we have planted will blossom and yield great fruits. At the news of such peace, all creation and even the nature will rejoice and dance.
HWPL’s peace messengers and I myself will run at the forefront. I ask for your support and cooperation in the work of peace. With one heart and one mind, let us make 2020 a year of taking a quantum leap toward peace. We are one!
Yours sincerely,
Man Hee Lee, Chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light
2019 World Peace Summit: 5th Anniversary of the WARP Summit
This peace festival was held at Suwon World Cup Stadium (Korea) and was broadcast live to a worldwide audience. And “Legislate Peace” Campaign was conducted in 113 countries, 166 locations, 211 events. [138 countries participated] I certainly recommend seeing it in person. Because knowing and feeling are very different. Especially, I recommend you see the IPYG Card Section and Media Facade.
IPYG Card Section and Media Facade at the 2019 World Peace Summit ❤❤
Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, proclaimed a message of peace filled with passion through his opening speech by saying “Five years ago, at the WARP Summit, Political leaders pledged to work towards an international legal document for peace and cessation of war, religious leaders pledged to achieve the alliance of religions, and heads of various organizations pledged to urge for the completion of this work. We are working to keep that promise now. The event is held at the same time in many countries around the world. These efforts will shine in the history of the world and we must be united to achieve the promised purpose (of peace). Let the DPCW be presented and passed to the UN General Assembly as international law of peace. We Are One!”
It is the result of 6,000 young people’s effort without any cost. Actually, it’s even more wonderful to see in person. The history of the Korean Peninsula can be seen at a glance from the founding of the country. It also gives an answer to how peace can be achieved.
Card Section may be called “Card Stunts.” In Wikipedia, card stunts are a planned, coordinated sequence of actions performed by an audience. If so many people cannot be united, it cannot be achieved. So, I think it’s more valuable. I recommend you to see it for yourself!
Media Facade – 2019WorldPeaceSummit
It is a technique of projection mapping. It is a projection technique used to turn objects, often irregularly shaped, into a display surface for video projection. I want to call it a “feast of light embroidered in the sky.”
This media facade focused the introduction of HWPL. I think It has many meanings. It is the most beautiful scene I have ever seen. There is no need for a long explanation. You have to see it for yourself!

(…) 3.7 billion women from all over the world, and women from South Korea! I ask you to be the main force of peace with IWPG. Let’s add the wisdom we have accumulated and use the expertise we have worked for to make sure that peace is complete in this age of life. If your passion, 3.7 billion women, and the explosive power of youth add to the wisdom of the chairman Man Hee Lee, war will surely disappear in this world. We are one! Thank you.”
The highlight of IWPG is the 2019 International Women’s Peace Conference. The conference was hosted under the theme of “Extending the Network of 3.7 Billion Women to Urge and Support the DPCW and for the Peaceful Unification of the Korean Peninsula”. #DPCW#IWPGpic.twitter.com/dhtawGrTyW
Also, the Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL said “Shouldn’t we have a list of all the global women’s groups at the IWPG headquarters? Who should work? As you’ve seen, they’re all in HWPL. Former and incumbent presidents are appointed as peace advisers in our HWPL, including Supreme Court justices, National Assembly speakers, and university presidents. How strong we are!
We can do it, right? I just told you, if you had something like this, there’s nothing you can’t do, right? Isn’t that right? It’s greater than making tens of thousands of nukes, right? It’s more powerful. Let’s be one of you and try to bring the whole world into the IWPG and make peace together. I hope so. Thank you.”
