HWPL World Peace Summit, a festival for the family of peace, is a time to witness achievements made for peace and to commit to the work of peace that needs to be done in the future.
The Central American Parliament and the PAP(Pan African Parliament) passed a resolution in support of the DPCW.
The legislative body of the african union consisting of 55 african countries signed an MOU with HWPL supporting the DPCW.
Furthermore, various european political leaders and experts in the fields of education and law support the peaceful unification of the korean peninsula, which is a symbolic measure to cease wars and achieve peace.
They are carrying out various activities as the advisory council.
Currently advocacy activities supporting the implementation of the DPCW such as legislate peace campaign and peace letter campaign are being carried out around the world by the civil society.
In the fields of politics, education, religion, media, youth and women’s organizations, people around the world are becoming one with HWPL and establishing a peace network.
Religious leaders are taking the lead in building peace and ceasing conflicts via 250 HWPL WARP offices in 128 countries.
Peace education awakens students’ recognition of the value of living as a citizen on this earth.
In the era of peace, HWPL peace education curriculum is being introduced not only to the educational institutions but also at the governmental level.
Through peace education our children will grow as peace messengers and protect a ever-lasting peace in the world.
This is the latest official HWPL video released 10 months ago. I want to summarize again and organize my thoughts after a long time.
What is HWPL to me? What is peace to you?
What is the percentage of peace in 24 hours a day?
To me, the meaning of HWPL seems like a kind of engine that makes me not stop. The engine is in a car, and I think our heart is a kind of engine.
The engine is the driving force that emits a strong force so that the car can move. If we don’t spew enormous amounts of blood from our hearts moment by moment, humans will collapse like dolls with broken threads.
I can’t even type on the keyboard right now. You can’t even eat. You can’t even work hard in a day.
I think peace is really important to anyone. Because safety is the basis of every life. We can’t enjoy our hobbies if it’s not safe. You can’t even surf.
You can’t eat delicious dinner with your lover. Because we could die soon. If there is no peace.
The HWPL is an organization that does a powerful job of peace. So I really like it. Even if no one recognizes them, they move with all their might. It’s really cool.
I support their move. Maybe forever.
With the proclamation of the declaration of world peace, on May 25th 2013 HWPL, the chairman Man Hee Lee, an NGO associated with the UN ECOSOC was established to create a world of peace, free of wars.
HWPL is carrying out peace initiatives in 170 countries around the world.
HWPL aims to develop a legal instrument that will ensure peace in the world so that people can live in harmony transcending borders, race and religion.
On March 14th 2016 the 10 articles and 38 clauses of the declaration of peace and cessation of war was proclaimed.
In May 2018 HWPL introduced the DPCW to the UN.
You can see the Chairman Lee Man-hee shouting strongly. I really admire his strong motivational abilities. He really is a man who can make peace.
Permanent representatives of 145 countries receiving the support from the international community the DPCW will be submitted to the UN in the form of a draft resolution.
Specifically, the governments of eswatini, seychelles, kamoros and antigua and Barbuda declared their official support for the DPCW.
I recommend watching the video in person! I’ll call it a day.
I’ll be back for review part 2 next time!
Until then, I hope you think deeply about peace!
Do you know a peace documentary? There are still quite a few people in the world who seek peace.
I really admire them. Because they endure things that are difficult for others to pursue easily. I think it’s more noble.
The peace documentary was very touching. As if it were not easy to see plants grow, I felt like I was watching peace bloom like a flower right next to me.
It’s a breakthrough in ending the 50-year bloody conflict in Mindanao, the Philippines
HWPL Busan-Gyeongnam Western Branch held the first Peace Loving New Year Conference on 18th of January. The event was organized as a time to share last year’s activity series and 2020 activity plan reports with 150 members and citizens attending.
“I sincerely thank you for being with HWPL at this time of the New Year,” said leader Kim Jung-soo, who attended the event and gave a welcoming speech. “This year, HWPL will continue to promote peace, international law, peace education, and harmony among religions for peace and war on the Korean Peninsula.
In particular, the event drew the attention of participants as a video of a celebration featuring voices on peace was shown at all levels of Afghanistan.
“Everyone in the world is partly responsible for stopping the war and bringing peace to everyone around the world,” said Wali Kabir, the head of news at Afghanistan’s state-run news agency. “It’s a great opportunity for a journalist to deliver a message of peace.
I look forward to hearing a lot of news of peace from now on.
The Chairman Man Hee Lee said “HWPL will do its utmost to make 2020 a year of great leaps toward peace.
The 10 articles and 38 clauses of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), a solution for peace, are awaiting submission to the UN General Assembly, to realise a peaceful world without war through international law, please become a messenger of peace, transcending nationality, ideology, and religion.
Please introduce the DPCW and urge support for it. With its family of peace, HWPL is creating an eternal legacy of peace and cessation of war for generations to come. The year 2020 will be a year that goes down in history.”

Do you know why people say ‘Mr.Man Hee Lee is a messenger of peace’? Because he has the definite answer to peace. He is a Korean War veteran, knows the horrors of war than a person ever knew. In his biography, “I struggled to survive. The sounds of guns, cannons, jets, and bombs did not stop for one second. The heavens, the earth, and my heart trembled, and the sky was filled with smoke.” So the Chairman Lee is running really hard for Peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Also, he is the chairman of Heavenly Culture, World Peace and Restoration of Light (HWPL). HWPL is an international peace nonprofit organization registered with the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI) and the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
“Legislate Peace” – Implementation of the DPCW for Sustainable Development
On the 19th, the second day of the 2019 World Peace Summit, experts and citizens gathered to share the achievements and focused on the “Legislate Peace” (LP) project. They were creating a huge stream of peace.
Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, explained the necessity of introducing new provisions of peace to international law by stating, “It is no small task to introduce new provisions to international law. Then we need to know why new ones are needed. This is because wars cannot be ceased with current international law, and if so, peace cannot come to the world. Current international law makes exceptions for the use of force, so wars cannot be ceased. The HWPL International Law Peace Committee, which is composed of world-renowned experts in law, drafted the DPCW. If you think its content is needed for humanity to live and better than the present, it should be carried out.”.

Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, proclaimed a message of peace filled with passion through his opening speech by saying “Five years ago, at the WARP Summit, Political leaders pledged to work towards an international legal document for peace and cessation of war, religious leaders pledged to achieve the alliance of religions, and heads of various organizations pledged to urge for the completion of this work. We are working to keep that promise now. The event is held at the same time in many countries around the world. These efforts will shine in the history of the world and we must be united to achieve the promised purpose (of peace). Let the DPCW be presented and passed to the UN General Assembly as international law of peace. We Are One!”

It is an edited version of the entire live video.
Around 500 influential people from 41 countries participated in the 2018 International Women’s Peace Conference.
“2018 Former and Current First Ladies International Peace Forum” was held. Women leaders who are born again as leaders of peace will take the lead in advocating and promoting DPCW for a peace international law.
The IWPG World Peace Conference—Harmony, Communication, and Peace with the 3.7 Billion Women in the World—attracted attention with the thousands of women participants and high quality events.
IWPG branches are being established throughout the world where women are hungry for peace. During the year 2019, 8 branches in 5 countries were established.
In March 2019, the first IWPG PR center was established. Here, as promised to future generations, we will educate peace and convey the value of true love.
IWPG attended the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in March 2019 and established its position as an international women’s organization. The 10 article and 38 clauses of the DPCW was promoted through various events prepared during CSW. Activities were held to support and promote the DPCW.
The IWPG is conducting a handwritten letter of peace campaign to urge political leaders from different countries to agree to support DPCW and to enact an international law. The Handwritten Letters of Peace has been published as a compilation of letters. It is being delivered to foreign ministers and heads of state of respective countries through the ambassadors of 191 countries.
IWPG Chairwoman said “we declare April 26th as the ‘International Women’s Day of Peace’ so that we can gather the hearts of 3.7 billion women around the world today for the realization of world peace and to eternally remember this day. We also support and urge the DPCW, the key to world peace and a peace international law, and have united women to be the messengers of peace in a new age.”
“IWPG Peace Lecturer Training” allows women around the world to learn and practice the spirit of peace. In 2019 there are 83 graduates from 12 countries around the world and about 200 students from 50 countries around the world.
In 2020, the IWPG’s walk of peace for the cessation of war will continue to be stronger.
“The noble motherhood of women is the strongest force and the answer to peace that protects children from war and leads mankind into a world of peace. Because half of the world’s population is women with the potential for peace, we can turn humanity into a peaceful world without war.
(…) 3.7 billion women from all over the world, and women from South Korea! I ask you to be the main force of peace with IWPG. Let’s add the wisdom we have accumulated and use the expertise we have worked for to make sure that peace is complete in this age of life. If your passion, 3.7 billion women, and the explosive power of youth add to the wisdom of the chairman Man Hee Lee, war will surely disappear in this world. We are one! Thank you.”
The highlight of IWPG is the 2019 International Women’s Peace Conference. The conference was hosted under the theme of “Extending the Network of 3.7 Billion Women to Urge and Support the DPCW and for the Peaceful Unification of the Korean Peninsula”. #DPCW #IWPG pic.twitter.com/dhtawGrTyW

Also, the Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL said “Shouldn’t we have a list of all the global women’s groups at the IWPG headquarters? Who should work? As you’ve seen, they’re all in HWPL. Former and incumbent presidents are appointed as peace advisers in our HWPL, including Supreme Court justices, National Assembly speakers, and university presidents. How strong we are!
We can do it, right? I just told you, if you had something like this, there’s nothing you can’t do, right? Isn’t that right? It’s greater than making tens of thousands of nukes, right? It’s more powerful. Let’s be one of you and try to bring the whole world into the IWPG and make peace together. I hope so. Thank you.”
See you on the next post!
