The ceremony was packed with exciting events like parades, performances, and a card section. There was a unified call to sign Article 10, paragraph 38 of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW). Through these performances, people could feel peace with all five senses. Building Collaborative Governance 🏛️🤝
During the meeting and discussion sessions, practical talks were held to build “collaborative governance” between governments and civil society. The goal? To evolve the DPCW into a legally binding document. The fifth meeting of the HWPL Commission on International Law saw 248 participants, including high-level officials and civil society representatives, coming together for this cause. 🌍📜
