Italy, Libyan coast guard saved them. But the joy and sorrow is mixed. Italy coast guard saved 2,300 and Libyan coast guard saved 580. 2,300 refugees were delivered to the port of Italy but 580 were delivered to Libya. According to United Nations refugee agency (unhcr), 46,000 people arrived in Italy this year. It was 86% of 55,000 refugees who set foot in Europe. It’s so sad story. When is peace coming? The people are worn out! They are inert and lethargic.

However, there are people constantly trying to achieve peace.

Already Peace has begun!

2013 Peace walk : Proclamation of the Declaration of World Peace

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE [Declaration of World Peace] Already Peace has begun!& 525 Peace Walk #2 World Peace War is a cowardly escape from the problems of peace. Thomas Mann refugees Proclamation Peace walk Peace Libya IWPG Italy IPYG HWPL Declaration of World Peace by the rain by light and by the air Already Peace has begun a legacy we can leave to future generations The Heavens and the Earth formed by the hands of the Creator have been given to humanity as an inheritance. In all the universe, life in its vast splendour exists only on our world. The life that grows on the earth is sustained from above – by light, by the rain, and by the air they provide unconditionally to all living beings. We have received the precious gift of life from above, let us give glory to heaven, and live in peace on earth. This is the truest teaching of heaven.

With this eternal gift – the grace and life we have received – are we entitled to fight, kill and destroy one another? We cannot claim to desire peace and continue to provoke one another, causing conflict for the sake of valuing our own national interests above those of others. This will only take the lives of the youth, wasting them in the futility of war. This is not a legacy we can leave to future generations.

Of what use is a young life, born in our day and age, if it is thrown away in this manner – thrown away without having had a chance to bloom? What price can compensate for the loss of a life? Do these young souls have another chance at life? As emissaries of World Peace; as people who are working towards the restoration of humanity through a new and heavenly culture, we declare the following:

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE [Declaration of World Peace] Already Peace has begun!& 525 Peace Walk #2 World Peace War is a cowardly escape from the problems of peace. Thomas Mann refugees Proclamation Peace walk Peace Libya IWPG Italy IPYG HWPL Declaration of World Peace by the rain by light and by the air Already Peace has begun a legacy we can leave to future generations We call on all youth to unite in an effort to stop wars and pursue the restoration of peace by agreeing not to fight one another. For World Peace to become a reality, this is the duty of all youth, everywhere.

The only way to stop the fighting and pointless, tragic deaths, is to stop fighting. Nobody can ask for anything greater than this, and know that your efforts – the efforts of the young people of the world today in pursuit of peace – will remain as a never fading light of life for all future generations.

Furthermore, we call on every person, every man, woman, and child in the world, to pick up the mantle of peace. In whatever way you can, we ask that you work to further the cause of world peace and restoration, making it a reality in your direct environments.

Lastly, we call on the media to report responsibly and promote a message of peace to the world.

World peace and restoration has begun at the same time this declaration is proclaimed.

Thank you.

PEACE IS COMING!!!

Protests of Venezuela

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE Protests of Venezuela : Venezuelan violinist plays with Teargas Pouring into young man Violin melody Venezuelan flags Venezuela tear gas Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra resentment Peace mournful lack of understanding José Martí Square hatred El Sistema discord crash CNN Caracas anti-government protests Anger

It’s two months of anti-government protests in José Martí Square of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. Police fired tear gas and masked youths threw petrol bombs. Anger, hatred, resentment, discord, crash, lack of understanding… It stands to reason that we are all suffocated even when we think about it. It may be exactly same to Venezuelan violinist.

However, the day was different.

Violin melody came from somewhere. The roar of the tear gas and shouts of protesters ‘It’s dangerous!!!’ mingled in a violin melodyIt was an extraordinary landscape. A young man of Venezuela(Venezuelan violinist) with helmet bearing the national flags was playing the violin. He didn’t seem to mind that or anything. He was only focus on the violin melody. He didn’t have any weapon and protection equipment. It gives a strong impression to me.

It was on air by CNN.

What is the meaning?

On May 3, the 18 year-old Venezuelan violinist and member of the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra was shot dead during an anti-government demonstration. His name is Armando Cañizales. He said, “I fought for my country” and participated in demonstration. Cañizales was in El Sistema music education program for low-income youth in Venezuela. So of course, his funeral was full with weeping young musicians when Venezuelan flags were flapping.

This mournful violin melody maybe means another expression of protest for Armando Cañizales.

PEACE is up to you. 🙂 Good Luck!

New young French President! There is a rising interest in young world leaders, ‘Young Blood’. Traditional politicians need to have age and wisdom. But Current trends expect fresh ‘vitality’. Already many other countries leave the politics to 30, 40 young leaders. These leaders’ funky and fresh move shows the ‘Young power’ as breaking existing practices.

Before Macron(39), Justin Trudeau(45) has been under the spotlight. He has claimed a generational shift since the Liberal Party. After he took office as Canadian prime minister at the age of 43 in 2015, he shows excellent communication skills based on ‘pretty boy’ appearance. He is still popular.

The First Story : Love

In 1994 16 years old boy confessed his love. “I will get marry with you without fail” To whom? His drama teacher. She was 40 years old at that time. She thought It was just his schoolyard crush. After his parents knew this love story, he was forced to go abroad in Paris. This love story would end like this way…. Nope! She said “He always called me. We talked on the phone for hours. His patience conquered my resistance little by little.”

The Second Story : En Marche!

In 2016 April, he told Francois Hollande(French President) “But I have a word : On April 6, Amiens, I’m trying to do something. I’m trying to launch a youth movement, like think tank.” as if nothing had happened. The youth movement is ‘En Marche!‘. Surprisingly he formed a political party!!! This party stuck a dagger in the back of Hollande and the Socialist Party.

Fresh Breeze Blows

These two anecdotes aren’t everything of him. We can’t know everything about him but it’s for sure that fresh breeze blows. I live in other countries but I have small expectations for happier future. It is also linked to the movement of the world.

My key message is be innovative, be ambitious; think global and big on day one – Emmanuel Macron

We need people who dream impossible things, who maybe fail, sometimes succeed, but in any case who have that ambition – Emmanuel Macron

DROOPING SNAIL (YOO JAE SUK & LEE JUCK) – AS ONE SAYS(abridged edition by me)

 When I was twenty years old, I would worry What do I do tomorrow?
What do I do tomorrow?

Even when I closed my two eyes
I just couldn’t fall asleep I deeply pondered
Why can’t I?
Why can’t I succeed?

I did not believe that things could happen as one says
I could not believe it Doing as one thinks
Seemed like a lie

But then one day
In my heart, a small but amazing realization was found
To be honest, I never ran crazily toward something
And I set myself up on my feet

Doing as one says
The moment I saw that this was possible
I decided to believe it

Doing as one says
If you believe that this is possible

This song can be summed up in 4 sentences. Next song is what I really want to introduce to you 🙂

You can feel it

Norah Jones – Peace

There’s a place that I know, where the sycamores grow
And daffodils have their fun
Where the cares of the day seem to slowly fade away
And the glow of the evening sun
Peace, when the day is done

If I go there real late, let my mind meditate
On everything to be done
If I search deep inside, let my conscience be my guide
Then the answers are sure to come
Don’t have to worry none

When you find peace of mind, leave your worries behind
Don’t say that it can’t be done
With a new point of view, life’s true meaning comes to you
And the freedom you seek is won
Peace is for everyone
Peace is for everyone
Peace is for everyone

Peace is up to you. Good luck! 🙂

What do you think about photographers? They are aimed at the moment. That moment is very important for their life. Because a good chance is never again. When I see my next, my friend is not there. Astonishingly he was running. He didn’t shoot but was taken in camera. He is a photographer and activist Abd Alkader Habak. This one picture resounded around the world loudly. This is a story of Aleppo, Syria. A lot has happened until now in Syria. Let’s see.

An image taken by another photographer, Muhammad Alrageb, shows Habak dashing towards an ambulance, the child and his camera in his arms. He maybe only thought ‘We need to save lives’. No matter how much he took hundreds of the miserable children, his figure is much more touching. I have never seen pictures like this. And one more picture is also really touching.

It was the most important building in Guatemala and was the headquarters of the President of Guatemala. The building is the origin of all the roads in the Republic. It is now a national museum.

The Guatemalan Civil war ran from 1960 to 1996. It was fought between the government of Guatemala and various leftist rebel groups supported chiefly by ethnic Maya indigenous people and Ladino peasants, who together make up the rural poor. The government forces of Guatemala have been condemned for committing genocide against the Maya population of Guatemala during the civil war and for widespread human rights violations against civilians.

To celebrate another day of peace in their country and the ever-fresh peace process, at about 11:30 AM, the Army Honor Guard, changes a white rose that has been placed on a monument in the court yard with another fresh white rose. The day old white rose, symbolizing 24 hours of peace, is then given to a guest of the country in a ceremony, held within the court yard.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.”

This peace prayer makes me solemn. This makes me feel abashed to my life.

He was born into a rich family. He left behind all money and lived in poverty.

When he was 20 years old, he was held captive for one year. That incident had a big impact on his life. He took no pleasure in his secular life any more.

Church of St. Francis of Assisi  is famous for tourist destination.

Have you heard of the famous anecdote about this ‘peace prayer’?

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE Saint Francis of Assisi "Peace Prayer" Saint Francis of Assisi Peace prayer Peace leprosy

One evening there was someone knocking the door of the Saint Francis. A  tough leprosy patient was standing out. He is so cold so he entreat Francis to  get warm in the room for a moment.

He took leprosy patient by the hand to lead him into the room. Then the patient want to have a dinner again. The two ate dinner together.

Late into the night, the patient is too cold. So the patient asked again the Francis to melt him in the nude. He make him warm.

When Saint Francis woke up in the next day, The patient was an illusion. Francis was aware of God. And he gave ‘peace prayer‘ to God.

How did you spend your this morning?

Listen to the inner voice.

Why don’t you make your ‘Peace Prayer’?

Go only your peace way. I hoped it. 🙂

Do you remember ‘2016 Nobel peace prize’? Santos president win the Nobel peace prize. Why? The Nobel committee support ‘Colombia peace agreement’. I introduce the reason why It is rejected. They failed to consider the victims’ anger. The problem is that they are too generous to FARC(Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia).

I expect They all discussed everything and ironed out the details. So They All will agree.

But How about now?

Santos government only passed Colombia peace agreement by parliamentary vote instead of The referendum. The agreement was carried by a unanimous vote. The opponents are not appearing to protest. They say “Colombia people refuse it. How can the Congress approve it?”(according to AFP)

Such reasons, Some pointed out that there are limitations to this agreement.

A STEP TOWARDS PEACE Nobel peace prize : Colombia peace agreement “It is passed. Now remaining task is 'implementation' Peace culture Colombia

Now ‘implementation’ is important. Success or failure depends on how much disarming FARC are protected. There are many such an opinion.

I think They more need conversations for their anger than protection of their enemy. Citizens will be further anger if they do things in this way. They should not think that people are a fool.  Who win hearts and minds will achieve peace.

Culture sure will lead world to peace. Let’s give peace to our mind. I think It is better to make new culture for Colombia. I get this idea from HWPL(Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light). Isn’t this word itself amazing? From what I know Asian culture, American culture and popular culture is all.

WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED

  • to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and
  • to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and
  • to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and
  • to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

AND FOR THESE ENDS

  • to practice tolerance and live together in peace with one another as good neighbours, and
  • to unite our strength to maintain international peace and security, and
  • to ensure, by the acceptance of principles and the institution of methods, that armed force shall not be used, save in the common interest, and
  • to employ international machinery for the promotion of the economic and social advancement of all peoples,

HAVE RESOLVED TO COMBINE OUR EFFORTS TO ACCOMPLISH THESE AIMS

Accordingly, our respective Governments, through representatives assembled in the city of San Francisco, who have exhibited their full powers found to be in good and due form, have agreed to the present Charter of the United Nations and do hereby establish an international organization to be known as the United Nations.

How do you read?

You’re feelings are really really important.

Isn’t it beautiful? This charter is really beautiful. But the reality is?

  • I want to ask you first. Did you know UN has that purpose?
  • I want to ask people who work in UN.  Did you know UN has that purpose?
  • I want to ask people who lead UN. Did you know UN has that purpose?

Is it a hollow crys? Is it Only remains through words?

Would ‘PEACE’ touch your mind?

  • If you had seen a war, you must long for peace.
  • If you are a victim, you must long for peace.
  • If your people has died, you must long for peace.
