Why is the IPYG so striving for peace?

The reason is that they are young people, and that they are the subjects to fight in the event of a war.

Have you ever experienced a war? It can vary depending on the country and age in which you live.
Or have you ever imagined a war? What was the war like in the movie?

I think war is ‘very terrible’ itself. War does not make winners. There is no grass left where the missiles have fallen countless times. What happiness is there in the place where the next comrade is dying?

After the war, who is the winner? I don’t think it’s the young people who died in the war. Who will pay for their lives?

I don’t want to denigrate their spirit of sacrifice for their country. If humans could have put down their selfishness a little more, they might have lived a better life without dying.

Discussion on Running Youth Engagement & Peacebuilding Working group (YEPW) Globally

The International Peace Youth Group (IPYG), an organization under HWPL, has formed a Youth Engagement & Peacebuilding Working group (YEPW) around affiliated organizations in 119 countries seeking to maintain citizen-led peace and promote a culture of peace.

Today’s topic is how to move globally. Young representatives from each country will have a hard discussion today. The sight of their eyes makes my heart warm. Because I feel their passion for peace.

They campaigned vigorously for peace letters and wrote letters to presidents. In addition, they are continuing various activities by building networks with various young people.

For example, the IPYG aims at making a miracle of world peace by joining efforts with the 1.4 billion youths around the world. Every May 25th, the IPYG Peace Walk is held in every corner of the world.

The IPYG is working to sow a culture of peace in every hearts and minds of youth by executing projects to put the Article 10 of the DPCW – Spreading a Culture of Peace into action.

The IPYG members paint peace walls, host and participate in various peace-themed contests and peace concert.

Isn’t it very meaningful to plan something for peace yourself, think about it, and make it happen?
It can be small, so I want you to practice it in your daily life!

It is very encouraging that work for peace has continued steadily over the past nine years. If you think about it, it’s really touching. Because people don’t care about peace.

What is the role of Global Peace Leader?

Why is so much work possible in such a short time? I think this is because the Chairman Lee Man-hee, who is the center of HWPL even at an age over 90, is here. He’s a really powerful driver.

2023 HWPL World Peace Summit is held to examine the key achievements of the agreements signed that day, and establish future plans.

This year, each session will be broadcast live. I’m really looking forward to it!! Each session will be attended by numerous peacemakers invited from abroad. I’m looking forward to what each person will say and what they’ve done.

This year, they’re going to talk more about DPCW and LP program. I think it would be good to focus on that more.

HWPL World Peace Summit, a festival for the family of peace, is a time to witness achievements made for peace and to commit to the work of peace that needs to be done in the future.

At the September 18th, 2014, HWPL World Peace Summit was held. Around 200,000 participants gathered.

The implementation of international law for peace and achievement of religious harmony was proposed as the solution to build a peaceful world.

At the 4th annual commemoration of the HWPL World Peace Summit held in 2018, MOAs and MOUs were signed with many international organizations, including five ministries of education and major media agencies in 12 countries.

To spread a culture of peace, through 30 world peace tours visiting 71 countries, heads of state, prime ministers, chief justices and religious leaders became a part of HWPL peace advisory council and journalists around the world became HWPL publicity ambassadors taking the lead to publicize hwpl’s peace activities.

As a result of the efforts to resolve the conflict in Mindanao, philippines, January 24th, Mindanao peace agreement day was declared.

Also, HWPL days such as declaration of world peace day and September 18th world alliance of religions day were designated.

The efforts to remember and commemorate peace are being achieved through HWPL peace museum library and peace park.

HWPL is making efforts with the world to cease wars and to leave a world of peace as a legacy to the future generations.

The peace movement of HWPL, joined by all people around the world, will change the future of mankind.

For a new era of eternal prosperity that everyone has dreamed of, we will follow the path of peace together with HWPL.

8th 918 HWPL World Peace Summit: peace as an Institution

In fact, I’ve been thinking about this for a long time.

Why should we seek peace?
Human nature is often far from peace..

Nevertheless, why should we not give up..? Why should it be?

In fact, I expressed it as a long time, but the moment to think about it is very short. It’s a really short moment.. Do you know the answer?

Nevertheless, would we say it’s a value that we should keep?
Is it a key value that a person can remain a person?

That’s true. There are quite a few people who have given up as human beings. Who can determine human qualifications?
Does the standard value exist?

I think a lot of things are connected. The agony of peace coincides with spiritual anguish, and our lives are connected to those of people on the other side of the world.

So I love that shout. “We Are One!!”
And I like people who risk their lives to keep the peace even if they don’t gain anything. I love them.

But I’m busy with a lot of work to make ends meet. So on the other hand, I’m sorry, but I’m trying to help them somehow.
So I write like this. How do you live? I’m curious.

On September 18th, the 8th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit was held online with the theme of ‘Peace as an Institution: A Foundation for Sustainable Development’.

HWPL has proposed peace as an institution to resolve the above global threats. The main goal is to weave the values of peace into our social fabric, allowing mutual respect, harmony, cooperation, and co-prosperity.

HWPL’s vision for peace as an institution goes beyond temporary measures to cease conflict actions and pursues peace incorporated into laws, values, and cultures.

Regarding the cause of peacebuilding at the global level, Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL said, “The global village has suffered from the unexpected COVID-19 that has hit every country. People are not alone in the midst of difficulties.”

“We live in the same global village, and we are neighbors and families. Each one of us is the one who are obliged to make our world a better place to live. And shouldn’t we pass on our good world to our descendants?”

Mr. Chung Young-min, General Director of the IPYG emphasized the role of youth as the main player of international action for peace by saying that education programs for 1,500 global youth in 59 countries are hosted to “protect the basic rights of youth around the world so that everyone can live a happy life without being left behind.”

2021 HWPL Virtual Conference “A New Normal for Sustainable Peace”

On September 24, 2021 – Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) held a virtual conference titled “A New Normal for Sustainable Peace.”

According to this article, participants discussed how HWPL has contributed to peace in the Caribbean region and collected best practices for future initiatives.

The names of the 14 notable people are written in the article, so go take a look. Many people are trying for peace.

It seems that there are no such people around us, but people who want peace are connected anywhere in the world. Like a network of lights!

HWPL is not people who stay still. Because of our great unity, we are stronger than anyone else because we are firmly united. Soon a huge snowball will roll. It will create a big wind in the world!

The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), which is presented as the answer to peace, remains a strong solution.

The DPCW has already been enacted as a National Declaration in several countries worldwide, including Antigua and Barbuda, Seychelles, and Eswatini, and international organizations such as the Central American Parliament.

I think it’s comforting that there are people who act for peace somewhere in the world.

love peace… I wonder how beautiful it means.

Who wants peace? I actually think we all want peace. But in fact, we don’t seem to have time to think about peace because we’re too busy making ends meet.

But I think we can do that because we are safe. Because that’s not my job. But there are still people whose parents died in the war right now. People die every day in disputed areas.

In the end, we all become one community. No matter how far away we are, it seems most important to know that we are one.

HWPL is the most powerful peace organization that practices this meaning. In particular, civic groups of HWPL really love peace. I think the power of young people(IPYG) and mothers(IWPG) will break through any difficulties ahead of us.

Mr. Man Hee Lee, the chairman of HWPL, said “What’s our goal? To end the global war. To achieve peace and make it an eternal legacy for future generations.

What did we say? We said, ‘We are one.’

I remember the days when we ran together hoping for one wish.

2021 IWPG Peace Conference ‘Role of Women’

IWPG is a world-class women’s NGO registered with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UNDGC) and obtained a special consultation position with the UN Economic and Social Council (UNECOSOC), and is an organization that continues its activities for world peace and women with HWPL.

It is headquartered in Seoul, Korea, and has about 400 cooperative organizations (MOA) in 52 countries, including about 100 branches in Korea and abroad. It also promotes the enactment of the “DPCW” as an international law with legal effect through activities to support and urge peace international law, and helps all women in the world learn and practice the spirit of peace through education.

It is meaningful in that more than 800 female leaders from around the world joined the event online.

Yoon Hyun-sook, the representative of IWPG, said in a greeting, “IWPG has become a wing of peace to realize world peace and has run with HWPL,” stressing, “Our peace activities have not stopped even in unexpected pandemic situations.”

“We are still doing our best by converting all activities into non-face-to-face online activities, communicating with IWPG members around the world for sustainable peace,” he said adding, “3.9 billion women of IWPG will complete the realization of world peace with HWPL.”

Laws and systems are needed to completely settle peace, Yoon said. “The “Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War(DPCW)” can prevent wars and disputes at the source. We will continue our activities to urge them to be enacted as binding bills.”

In this regard, Yoon, who also introduced the “Plant Peace (Planting Peace)” movement, wished for the settlement of peace. The Plant Peace Movement is a project that transforms the culture of discrimination, violence, conflict and war into a culture of peace. Peace culture is being planted for children and adolescents around the world through peace education.

I was impressed by the words of the Minister of Uganda. She said women around the world should “feel the role” they discussed today.

When I watched this conference on YouTube, I felt that peace could be surprisingly easy.
In fact, peace is not difficult. I think it’s because of my narrowed mind that I think it’s difficult. If the level of our mind is much higher, if we are close to the level of Jesus, there will be nothing we cannot do.

But we always fight against evil minds. If we can win it, peace will surely come true.

I think HWPL has the answer to peace. The power of HWPL is best represented by the slogan “We are one!” There is nothing we can’t do if we’re one mind to solve everything.

But the world is now so confused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). There is no one at street, everyone stays at home. Even WHO declared novel coronavirus disease a pandemic. (more than 121,000 cases in 118 countries)

At times like this, if we try for quarantine in one mind without blaming anyone without discrimination, we will all survive. 🙂
