HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) is an international peace NGO, registered with the United Nations and is now Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
In 2017, about 1,000,000 People are walking for peace in 106 Cities in 41 Countries. Unlike most peace organizations, the results of each year are considered great. They are trying to bring a new international law to the United Nations soon.
I brought up to top five videos that I have seen so far. š
1. Media Facade 2019
It’s an art…
2. IPYG Card Section Performance 2019
3. Card Section of 12,126 People 2018
They are all volunteers. Is it possible?
4. 2018 HWPL World Peace Summit
Parades are also tremendously attractive, and the speeches of former presidents are touching. I definitely recommend seeing it.
5. Media Facade 2017
I think HWPL has the answer to peace. The power of HWPL is best represented by the slogan “We are one!” There is nothing we can’t do if we’re one mind to solve everything.
But the world is now so confused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). There is no one at street, everyone stays at home. Even WHO declared novel coronavirus disease a pandemic. (more than 121,000 cases in 118 countries)
At times like this, if we try for quarantine in one mind without blaming anyone without discrimination, we will all survive. š
P.S my heartfelt condolences to all the families who lost loved ones…
On July 19, the HWPL held the 16th WARP Office in Daejeon. They invited leaders of Buddhism, Islam and Christianity to hold a forum under the theme of “God’s Promise.” Participants discussed the record of God’s promise to make and whether it was recorded in the scripture.
The Buddhist leader said, “The teachings of Buddhism are not dependent on the absolute but on the fulfillment of one’s salvation and wishes through training and enlightenment himself.”
“God promised blessings and salvation in heaven if we kept the word written in the Quran,” the Islamic leader said. “He confirmed our faith by keeping his word.”
The pastor said “There are two testaments of old and new in the Bible. The content is the liberation from sin and the return of the Creator God. The prophecy of the Old Testament came about 2,000 years ago and Jesus had achieved Old Testament. And he gave us a new testament.” Lastly, he emphasized that “the true faith of the believers is to believe that a new testament will be fulfilled and to believe what has been achieved when it is done.”
Theme: What is the truth? in Busan
On July 21, under the theme of “Truth,” leaders of Cheondoism, Buddhism and Christianity gathered to announce “the truth and standards in each scripture” and “the process and purpose of seeking the truth written in each scripture.”
“It is not easy to learn the true truth in a world where lies are played these days,” said a 40-year-old woman who attended the forum. “After listening to the truth of each religion at the forum today, I came to the conclusion that the ultimate purpose of truth is ‘LOVE’.”
Meanwhile, HWPL has continued to host the WARP Office for Inter-religious Harmony since the 2014 WARP Summit and currently operates offices at 250 locations in 127 countries.
Of the past 3,400 years, humans have been entirely at peace for 268 of them, or just 8 percent of recorded history. There are 12,703battles since 2500 B.C. (created by a Dutch company LAB1100) Explore the map here. At least 108 million people were killed in wars in the twentieth century. Estimates for the total number killed in wars throughout all of human history range from 150 million to 1 billion. War causes universal misery. Wars made internally displaced people, refugees and casualties. “There was never a good War, or a bad Peace.” (Benjamin Franklin) “Who can compensate for the death of the youth? A Country? No one can do.” (Man hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL)
What Wars are Going on Now?
There are 5 ongoing wars in the world. Let me know if more wars happen.
ā¢ Afghanistan ā¢ Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) ā¢ Syrian Civil War ā¢ Yemeni Civil War ā¢ Boko Haram Insurgency
Afghanistan (7 October 2001 ā present)
Growing political tensions and infighting has created an increasingly volatile environment in Afghanistan. This conflict started on 7 October 2001. In the past 16 years, al-Qaeda and Taliban government was destructed. Osama bin Laden was dead. Despite the fact that Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour was killed by a drone strike in May 2016, the group has regularly launched relentless attacks around the country. Adding to the instability, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has continuously attempted to establish the foundation in Afghanistan.
Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) (1999 ā present)
ISIS causes a major obstacle to peace not only in Iraq and Syria but also in Libya, Yemen and Afghanistan. Within the past year, the group has launched some of its most deadly terrorist attacks outside of the Middle East region, including in Bangladesh, Belgium, France, Germany, Turkey, Pakistan and the U.S. It’s hard to measure due to global terrorism, but the U.N. estimates ISIS is responsible for more than 18,000 civilian deaths in Iraq in the past two years alone.
ā¢ Total killed : 410,800 ā¢ Civilians killed : 106,000 ā¢ Missing : 56,900 ā¢ Not documented : 100,000+ (The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, as of March 2018)
Syrian Civil War (15 March 2011 ā present)
Now in its sixth year, the Syrian Civil War has created one of the most dire and complex humanitariancrises on earth. Recent reports put the death toll at 470,000, with more than one in ten Syrians having been wounded or killed. An estimated 8 million Syrians have become displaced within the country, and another 4.5 million have sought refuge in neighboring countries and beyond.
In 2014, Houthi rebels took control of the capital Sanaāa and a large portion of northern Yemen. President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi and his cabinet fled to neighboring Saudi Arabia, where a Saudi-led coalition was formed to counter the Houthi rebellion. The Yemeni Civil War started. It is a humanitarian catastrophe. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) estimates that 14.1 million civilians are dangerously close to starvation.
ā¢ Total killed : 50,000+ ā¢ Civilians killed : 6,592 ā¢ Wounded : 49,960 ā¢ Displaced : 3,154,572 ā¢ Child died of hunger : 50,000+
Boko Haram Insurgency (2009 ā present)
The jihadist rebel group Boko Haram started an armed rebellion against the government of Nigeria. It want to establish an Islamic state based on Sharia law and has spread to Niger, Cameroon and Chad. Nigeria was also targeted in the infamous Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping in 2014, in which about 270 girls were abducted. Boko Haram now controls up to 20 percent of Nigeria and continues to violate human rights and leave millions without access to food, water, shelter or medical care throughout the entire Lake Chad region.
ā¢ Total killed : 51,567+ ā¢ Displaced: 2,400,000
Approximately 210,000 Afghan, Iraqi, and Pakistani civilians have died violent deaths as a direct result of the wars. (As of March 2015) This is not just a number. I’m sitting in front of the computer, tapping on the keyboard, but it’s not just a number. It is a very vivid death in their lives, and they are my family, my father, my mother, my sister, and my brother. But there is no need to despair that the war will not end. Because there are people who have the answer to peace. It is recognized by numerous experts as a strong and practical peace movement. It is the HWPL! HWPL is a really hot peace group to worldwide foreign news these days. Let me introduce an anecdote.
The Chairman Man hee Lee ofHWPL asked, “People who are gathered here, is there any want who want war?.”
No one answered. The Chairman Lee continued that “War sacrifices many lives and destroys many buildings. If there is anyone who wants war, please raise your hand.” With silenceā, no one raised their hands. The Chairman Man hee Lee shouted strongly, “When thereās war, who is the one who is fighting in front of battle line that is the youth. We are born in the same world, same generation, but their lives cannot blossom, but their lives are lost in the battle!”
The Chairman Lee continued, “Now, we need to make a peaceful world to live. And when we inherit peaceful world to our future generation, nothing would be more valuable. That is why we need to urge all of our presidents. We need to urge them for the world to become peaceful sooner. Iām not saying something wrong. Am I? We have to make our world, our global village being paradise. This is our duty. And, this is what we have to do.” Everyone gave a standing ovation.

We invite you all! to come and see the answer to peace in person!
– Plenary 1: Current and Former Presidents, Ministers
Ā What is the role of the leaders of Africa?Ā They got together to think about this.Ā I was impressed that One Former President always shouted for peace during his presidency and the country’s civil war ended.Ā When I listen to the leaders’s stories, I think they are really great.Ā They have not given up yet and want peace.Ā There is no one who does not care about his country’s people. I am grateful that people like them are leaders. TheĀ Chairman Man hee Lee asked, “People who are gathered here, is there any want who want war?.”
No one answered.Ā TheĀ Chairman Lee continued that “War sacrifices many lives and destroys many buildings. The Chairman Man hee Lee & HWPL
has the Solution of PEACE
I thought I needed to hear him in more detail. TheĀ Chairman Lee continued “However, politics and laws could not compensate for the lives there was lost. Should we continue on this painful war? No matter how much money you spent builds your own house, if there is war, your building, your house will be broke down. God is peace. And we need to follow his will and achieve the world of peace. What religion talking about is peace. And the world of peace is salvation. This peace is not a matter of individual. It is the matter of the people in the earth. Therefore we need to become messengers of peace who achieve peace.”
Why HWPL? Why chairman Man hee Lee?
– peace biography of the Chairman Man Hee Lee
What is the Solution of sustaining peace?Ā HWPL identifies the root cause of the conflict and provides a solution to peace.Ā People stuck together to make a world without war.Ā Mindanao, who had suffered 40 years of civil war, signed the peace agreement of HWPL and it ended years of conflict and brought peace to various places of Mindanao.Ā The results were possible because everyone joined the peace movement in unison.
The world is debating, practicing, and witnessing peace. The WARP Summitis widely known as the International Peace Festival, which has practical consequences. As a non-governmental peace organization, bringing people from various nations and all walks of life together is an astonishing feat. Participants say TheWARP Summitis a unique event that supports humanity and peace spirit. The way in which we organize and coordinate events systematically is highly valued compared to other international events. Anyone who comes to this festival can fully experience the culture of heaven. In particular, the IPYG Card Section Performance, which 12,126 IPYGyouth created, impressed various races and cultures and brought peace to the mind. The WARP Summit is becoming a world peace festival and giving the divided Korean Peninsula a new name of the nation of peace.
On September 18, 2014, two historic vows were made while the world watched, which developed into a major peace campaign of the HWPL. Leaders from various fields have fulfilled their mission and made up their minds to achieve it in this era. The noble cause t end war and keep peace for future generations is now a concrete goal before us. The WARP Summit is held to create a clear solution to achieve peace and sets a new standard for peace.
We are creating a new order for the world. In order to fundamentally resolve international conflicts and crises, we have developed our work in a more specific and professional direction. The HWPL international law peace committee was founded to discuss ways to achieve peace through international law. It is composed of legal experts of different nationalities. After three formal committee meetings, the DPCW was drafted. On March 14, 2016, 10 articles and 38 clauses of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) was declared. Currently, there is a worldwide campaign to introduce the DPCW to the United Nations. The new international peace law, that the world is creating together, will change the history of mankind.
HWPL world alliance of religions’ peace(WARP)office
Religion is returning to its original role in restoring peace. The WARP Office was established to resolve conflicts and misunderstandings among religious groups. The Chairman Man hee Lee’s clear religious guidelines lead religious people in the right direction today.
The Chairman Man hee Lee said, “If religions are in harmony with each other, there will be no reason to fight. To achieve harmony among religions, people of religion should examine and compare their scriptures to find the truth and become one in that truth. People of religion are responsible for leading people of the world in the right path.”
In the WARP Office,Ā leaders from various religious groups gather to discuss religion and the Bible.Ā It is being held in major cities around the world. The purpose of this comparative study of religious scriptures is to return religion to its original role and become one religion according to the creator’s will. The WARP Office promotes understanding and harmony among many religions in the world for the peace of mankind.
We are building lasting peace for future generations. Now we need education for peace. A proper education can change our future. Our children must learn the valuable values of creating a happy future for themselves and protecting it.
One law expert said, “We must educate all humanity to instill in them a love of peace so that our youth will no longer be sacrificed in war. For this purpose, we hereby resolve to participate in the peace work of HWPL as an HWPL Peace Academy and to become messengers of peace who educate about the peace movement.”
The number of HWPL Peace Academy is increasing worldwide and Peace Teachers are are teaching students about the peace movement and peace spirit of the HWPL.Ā Through this education, children will grow into peace leaders.
The world recognizes and remembers of HWPL. All the prizes are lasting memorial to HWPL‘s contribution to mankind. The peace prize that we really want is a actual peace on Earth.
HWPL Day is now a peace holiday enjoyed by everyone. The day of the HWPL is being announced all over the world.
HWPL DAY January 24
Mindanao Peace Agreement Day
HWPL DAY May 25
Declaration of World Peace Day
HWPL DAY September 18

What’s more surprising is that after classroom work, they go a study tour that is aimed at exposing them to practical aspects of strategic policing.
HWPL:Substantial & Powerful
Ā I think NPC really want sustainable peace and substantial results. AndĀ It would be great if the participants could learn practical things.Ā If so, I would recommend HWPL.Ā They’re growing incredibly and fast. The objectives of HWPL is to end war. You can think ‘Is it possible?’. But you can understand when you see the leader’s cry and their movement.Ā HWPL‘s 3 core Peace initiatives areĀ Law for Peace, Alliance of Religions and Peace Education.Ā There are a lot of posts on my post, so you can look for them.Ā If you really love peace, you will cooperate.Ā Because HWPL has really strong power. And currently peace education made as teaching materials will provide substantial & practical learning for more students.

Discussing the spirit of peace written in scriptures to step forward onto the road of world peace
Ā Religion is the cradle of human civilization and will always be a core influence in our society. As the world becomes more multi-religious and multi-ethnic, however, there is a seemingly diminished respect for the difference. And more concerns rise towards this new threat to peace, which can be seen in the form of religious hatred and persecution.
Seeing the current status of the religious world, HWPL thinks the solution of peace. ‘How can we make it?’ The answer they found is the Scriptures. Because it represent the accumulation of not only the spiritual and moral teachings of the respective faiths, but also a fundamental standard of human conduct.
Why Scripture?Ā Although the common objective that all religion is the great things, these messages are often overlooked by people. Because religious people fight with each other first. They showed hostility and started a war.Ā So peace is becoming an elusive concept.Ā So HWPL approach towards the root cause of this hostility between faiths, defined as the misunderstandings that arise from the misinterpretation of these scriptures.
Spreading throughout the world
It began from the World Alliance of Religionsā Peace (WARP) Summit in 2014 where representative leaders from 12 religions, along with 950 participants, signed the Unity of Religion Agreement. At that time, the WARP OfficeMeeting was established and it has been actively practiced worldwide since then.
Strong cooperation and a network of religious communities formed by the commitment of those at the WARP Summit 2014 has been integrated with a deeper understanding of the core principles and values of each scripture.
Thus, within its Alliance of Religions Initiative, in remembrance of the promised agreement for the unity of religions, HWPL has promoted interfaith communication among religious leaders, who play an integral role in educating their congregations about differences in religious beliefs in a way that should not hinder the progress of establishing world peace.
ItĀ Ā is an effective tool forĀ breaking down the walls between religions and achieving our common goal : peace
WARP OFFICE : Our Goal = Peace
The World Alliance of Religionsā Peace (WARP) Office Meetings are HWPLās worldwide peace dialogue series on interfaith relations and scriptural texts. These meetings aim to prevent the conflicts caused by religious misunderstandings and bring forth peace through gaining a deeper understanding of the standards and teachings of each religion, as well as the concept of peace spoken about in each scripture.
The Peace Office Meetings have become a global movement, and an increasing number of influential religious leaders are now going beyond their traditional roles and work as messengers of peace. This innovative initiative has stirred up discussions among leaders of various faiths and has increased peaceful interactions between them. It has shown itself to be an effective tool for breaking down the walls between religions and achieving our common goal: peace.
The Peace Office Meetings are becoming a way to create a bridge between religions in all areas of the globe.
Religious Youth Peace Camp
The aim of the HWPL Religious Youth Peace Camp is to engage youth and youth organizations in dialogue and conflict transformation activities based on inter-religious and inter-cultural learning.
Camp participants learn about the general history of world religions, find the root cause of and plausible resolutions to religious conflicts and disputes, examine the religious community’s roles for peace, and experience cultural exchanges.
Ā As I study abroad in Australia, I see and hear many things.Ā Among them, what is related to my hometown, Korea, is more noticeable to me. When I was in Korea, I could not hear much about HWPL, but I could hear a lot in Australia.Ā I think it is because HWPL is an international NGO.Ā It was really nice enhance their national prestige without showing off their pride. It is a pity why Koreans do not know this. This is how our relationship began.Ā After that, I became a fan.

What’s going on now? It is The grand finale of 28th World Peace Tour
Ā 5th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace is starting! I’m here!Ā I’ve been looking forward to this moment. Its title is ‘Resolving Conflicts and Spreading a Culture of Peace through the DPCW: Realizing Peace on the Korean Peninsula’. As you know expectations for peace on the Korean Peninsula have been rising since The Panmunjom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification of the Korean Peninsula at 2018 inter-Korean summit. Young people, from 84cities in 50 countries, cry out for peace with one voice.Ā The vigor of the site can only be felt directly.
TOGETHER FOR A NEW START, TOGETHER FOR PEACE
Why 5th Peace Walk is Different
Ā As the international community is paying keen attention to the establishment of peace on the Korean Peninsula like the 2018 inter-Korean summit and the Korea-U.S. summit, HWPL has called for the realization of peace on the Korean Peninsula based on the civil society’s network, including youth and women throughout the world.
In particular, in conflict areas such as Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan, young people and citizens is holding a peace walk with an earnest will to realize peace amid terrorism and war.
The Declaration of world peace, which was proclaimed on May 25, 2013 by HWPL, has called for the youth of the world to become the messenger of peace. Also, it suggests that we need the international law (DPCW) that can end the war. Why youth? The youth is the biggest victims of the war.

Ā Young people, from 84cities in 50 countries,Ā write peace letters to presidents of each country. How long?Ā Until the president writes signature atDPCW! The wind of peace is already blowing all over the world. ‘World peace and restoration has begun at the same time this declaration is proclaimed.’, theĀ Declaration of world peace. If 4,600,000 young people (IPYG) cry out for peace, what do you think will happen next?Ā There will be an enormous wind.
DPCW is the ultimate solution
The current international law is open to war if necessary. This will not end the war. The only way for peace is DPCW.Ā Chairman Lee proclaimed āHWPL has made peace agreements with present and former presidents and heads of state, chiefs justices of Supreme courts, university presidents, religious leaders, and the heads of international organizations, and this news has been broadcasted all around the world. The cessation of war and world peace will become a reality because everyone desires for peace rather than war” and finally “We have the answer to peace which is the DPCW.āĀ I’m sure it will cure the world more beautifully. DPCW is the solution!!! Let’s become the messengers of peace!

“A Call for Building a World of Peace and Realizing Justice“
Ā On March 14, 2018,Ā I sat at a quiet cafe and watched ‘2nd DPCW’ live broadcast in Australia.Ā The sky was so clear today. Maybe you don’t know, now I’m studying abroad in Australia. I’m from Korea.Ā Unlike Korea, here seems to be more relaxing. ‘Did I come this far and learn all the things to learn?’ ‘Why am I here?’Ā On these thoughts, I heard the news from HWPL. Today is the 2nd Annual Commemoration of the DPCW.Ā I know a lot of peace groups, but I don’t believe any one. Because they are only saying about peace, not moving. But I can’t help putting my trust in HWPL. We can know them by their walking.
HWPL has two Engines
HWPL‘s two Solutions to end WAR are DPCW & WARP. As you know, DPCW is the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War. WARP is the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace offices. In short, WARP Office.Ā There are, of course,Ā IPYG&IWPG who supports everything.Ā In the previous post, we looked at DPCW.Ā This time, we will look at WARPOffice thoroughly.
“Weāve called heaven and earth as witnesses to WARP Summit. In front of God and people in the world, we made an agreement to declare international law and unite religions. Also, the heads of organizations from each country made an agreement to urge implementation.”

The2ndAnnual Commemoration of theDPCW “126 events in 108 cities of 62 countries Worldwide”
ā¢ KEYWORDS of 2nd Annual Commemoration “Building a World of Peace” HWPLās mission is to bring wars not to a temporary halt but to a complete end, and to create sustainable peace in the current generation. For this goal, HWPL is working through a global peace network to advocate the DPCW, promote religious harmony and prevent interfaith conflicts, and spread a culture of peace through education, press, and civil society, all in accordance with the principles set out in the DPCW.
“Realizing Justice”
