Queendom (Korean: 퀸덤) is a 2019 K-POP television reality program that aired on Mnet, starring Park Bom (박봄), AOA (에이오에이), Mamamoo (마마무), Lovelyz (러블리즈), Oh My Girl (오마이걸), (G)I-DLE (여자)아이들.
The concept of program is a comeback battle between 6 K-POP girl group acts, in order to “determine the real number one” when all 6 release their songs at the same time.
There was a lot of controversy in the beginning because this program maybe encouraged war between K-POP fandoms. However, as the episodes went on, it became more and more heartwarming as they discovered new charms of each idol.
I watched a video while eating today, and I couldn’t take my eyes off it.
The last performance is great, but the first performance is really great.
Dancing in a group suit is also cool, but the scene where dancers appear in the middle is fatal.
Mamamoo makes good use of each color. This team won. yeahhhh 🙂
It’s a novel concept. olalla
The performance was worth seeing. I hope they don’t get stuck in the frame of being an idol and make good use of their strengths as an artist.
On April 17, Pope Francis shares his vision for Covid-19 aftermath in an exclusive meditation for Vida Nueva, the Spanish religious weekly, titled “Un plan para resucitar” which translates as “A plan to resurrect.”
What he said about the current situation is, “If there’s one thing we’ve been able to learn in all this time, it’s that no one is saved alone. Borders are falling, walls are crumbling and all fundamentalist discourses are dissolving before an almost imperceptible presence that shows the fragility of which we are made.”
The situation is worse than we thought. “The Great Lockdown is the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, and far worse than the Global Financial Crisis [of 2008],” International Monetary Fund (IMF) Chief Economist Gita Gopinath said on the 14th of April.
Is there any way to overcome this situation? In such a crisis situation, the ability of the state or company to deal with the crisis is revealed. In fact, we usually only think this way, but there’s actually one more. It’s each one of us.
Francis wrote that the only way to conquer the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is through “the antibodies of solidarity.” This antibody “will break all the fanaticism in which we had immersed ourselves and will allow us to feel ourselves to be the creators and protagonists of a common history and, thus, to respond jointly to so many ills that afflict millions of brothers around the world.”
Also he wrote, “If we act as one people, even in the face of the other epidemics that lie waiting for us, we can have a real impact.” I thought it was very similar to Man-hee Lee, the chairman of HWPL, who always shouted “We Are One!” His influence is powerful.
I think people who change the world think the same. All that remains now seems to be for us to practice those words. We can be cool enough. 🙂
“Be Melodramatic/Melo is My Nature” (Korean: 멜로가 체질) is a 2019 Korean Drama (JTBC) starring Chun Woo-hee (천우희), Jeon Yeo-been (전여빈), Han Ji-eun (한지은), Ahn Jae-hong (안재홍) and Gong Myung (공명).
In fact, the drama’s audience ratings are 1.488 percent on average for episode 16. Expectations for the drama were high even before it aired, as the famous director Lee Byeong-heon (이병헌), who hit the jackpot with some comic films in Korea, was in charge. However, its grades were very low.
I think it was because a powerful program called Show Me The Money was aired at the same time. In fact, the figure reflects only what people watch on TV at home. It would have been lower, since it’s a story of late 20s and early 30s interested in love. Because they don’t watch it on TV but on smartphones or pads.
As evidenced by this, the ratings for reruns were enormous. The drama has also been in the top 10 for five months on Netflix in Korea, and is still watched by many people.
I watched this drama because the actor Chun Woo-hee was so attractive in the YouTube clip. Each line of the drama is unique and attractive.
I saw it in Korean, and I thought it would be really hard to translate it into other languages. It’s amazing enough to feel like the best script written in Korean, but if the translation is embarrassing, it might be undervalued.
Most of the people who watch the drama say, “characters are expressed deliciously, and the actors are also very good at acting. The chemistry is perfect, too.” I hope this drama will be your life drama.
Personally, I like this OST the best. I feel at ease when I hear it. 🙂
The Beauty Inside (Korean: 뷰티 인사이드) is a 2018 South Korean Drama based on the 2015 film of the same name and the 2012 American social film The Beauty Inside. The original work of 2012 is quite a masterpiece, so I’ll take a look at it first.
The Beauty Inside is a 2012 social Internet series developed by Intel and Toshiba, Directed by Drake Doremus, written by Richard Greenberg, and starring Topher Grace, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Matthew Gray Gubler. (in wiki) It also won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions Festival!
The key plot is that “every day Alex wakes up, he wakes up in a completely different body. He’s the same person on the inside, but on the outside he’s always someone new.” It’s amazing how they came up with this effective marketing method.
In 2015, the film features actress Han Hyo-joo (한효주) and many handsome male actors. Film’s unique emotional atmosphere and color were pretty. Especially, Han Hyo-joo is really beautiful.
However, the story is not as solid as the original, and there is a lot of criticism about whether the movie really wants to express its inner beauty as a handsome person appears in every important scene. But the OST and the scene are really attractive.
2018 Korean Drama “Beauty Inside”
This time, the setting has been changed. There are 16 episodes and the genre is romantic comedy. The person whose body changes is not a man but a female lead, Seo Hyun-jin (서현진). It doesn’t change every day, but it has a central body. She turns into a different person once a month for a week.
The man, Lee Min-ki (이민기), who falls in love with this woman also has a disease. Different but the same two have the same painful experience. So, the two can only understand each other deeply and love each other more.
The reason why this drama is the best is because it is so fun. It’s funny, touching and lovely. Cute and pretty!!! It is the best drama. You’ll never regret it. Let me introduce my favorite scene.
In the drama, Seo Hyun-jin is so attractive and lovely. Also, Lee Da-hee (이다희) is really pretty. Maybe you’ll be surprised, too. It’s on Netflix!
This is my favorite OST, “CLOUD” by ROTHY. “I wanna hug you, maybe I’m crazy” It’s so sweet. ahahaa olalla
I recently found a good article, so I want to share it.
There’s a meme that was so me that I laughed really hard. It’s “the Covid 19” – a reference to gaining 19 pounds while observing social distancing.
It’s been 47 days since I started social distance. It is better that I have more time than usual but it is also more stressful. So not to blow away time, I’m managing time with Excel. I’m checking the time every 30 minutes.
I slept 6.7 hours a day on average for 47 days, worked 4.2 hours, read books 3 hours, watched movies 4.7 hours, and studied medicine 3.5 hours. I watched 18 movies and 3 seasons of drama, and I read 25 books.
There were many good days, but there were quite a few stressful days. How about you? I wonder how you manage. I worked out every morning, took a walk, and it didn’t last long. So these days, I keep trying to eat something.
Boredom… with Emotional Eating
I’ll quote an article. <Emotional eating is “the only coping toolkit we have in our bag – especially during times like now”, says Katherine Kimber, a registered dietitian and spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association.>
Also they said “another stressor at the moment is increased boredom, which is linked with emotional eating.” I totally agree. ahahaa
On a daily basis, Kamau emphasises the importance of structure as a way of boosting wellbeing. “It is important for people to carry on with having aroutine, to try to wake up at set times and go to sleep at certain times,” she says. Also, she said we should know ourselves better, and have a strategy of our own.
I’m a little depressed these days. Because my school said that I will take an exam next week. I want my flow back. Let me introduce her method.
five people you can call when you feel down
YG, NR, DE, JH, YJ
five ways you can relax
taking a walk in the morning, seeing cherry blossoms, listening to the Itaewon Class OST and watching Netflix
five places you can go to calm down
Back mountain, lake, cherry blossom tree and study cafe… (They are all within ten minutes’ distance)
five things you can say to yourself
“You’re already doing great. I believe in myself. Let me respect myself and love myself. Let’s do it with the best efficiency in the time.”
five activities you can use for distraction
I don’t know well…
I hope we’ll all be happy for the rest of our social distance. 🙂
After watching the Itaewon Class (Korean: 이태원 클라쓰) until the 16th episode, I always listen to these songs.
It’s about 25 minutes if you hear it through. :3
The first five pieces of music are good for starting something new. I’m just getting passionate. The music in the back is good for remembering the Korean drama.
There are eight music videos in total. It’s all official.
Personally, I like the song “돌덩이” the most. Also, I like the poem “I Am DIA (나는 다이아)” most. This is on the ending scene of episode 12. If I have a chance, I want to translate it into English.
These days, many people are self-isolating because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). I want to do things that I haven’t been able to do during this period, and also I’m worried about people suffering from illness.
I want to recommend some songs that make you think. It’s simple and short. 🙂
I just want you to be comfortable for 15 minutes.
“I’ve found peace far beyond all understanding” and “Peace is a promise You keep” are so impressive. While the phrase “peace is a promise” has never been thought of, it feels good.
I want to live a life that keeps that promise.
I’m not gonna be afraid I’m not gonna be afraid I’m not gonna fear the storm
I’m not gonna fear at all
The power of music is great. It creates power in unexpected places. have a communicative power. It is another education. Powerful.
I wish it were 15 minutes to make you feel good. Some of my friends got novel coronavirus (COVID-19). I pray that they are all healthy.
Have you ever heard of this drama? I watched episodes 1 to 3 these days. You can see it on Netflix. ahahaa
I’m holding it in because it’s so much fun. Now is the time to study, so I am concentrating on studying. So I watch it for 30 minutes whenever I have time. It’s so much fun, so I want to save it more.
Itaewon Class (Korean: 이태원 클라쓰) is a 2020 Korean drama starring Park Seo-joon (박서준), Kim Da-mi (김다미), Yoo Jae-myung (유재명) and Kwon Nara (권나라).
It is based on the webtoon of the same name. (Daum Webtoon) But there is only Korean. In fact, some say that dramas are not fun from episode 5 to 16. It is said that webtoons are much more interesting. But I haven’t seen it yet.
But I fell in love with the charm of this drama and watched it until the end.
Do you have a heart-fluttering goal? This song is honestly the best song in the drama and fits so well. I love this song so much. Why? It’s so uplifting like i could run towards my dreams.
Kwon Na Ra & Park Seo Joon
That girl is Kwon Nara (권나라). In the drama, her name is Oh Soo-ah (오수아). She is an orphan, supported by Jangga Group, and employed by Jangga Group. She is also Park Sae-ro-yi(박새로이, Park Seo-joon)’s first love. She is the reason why i watch this drama. She’s so pretty. Really pretty. olalla
I was going to talk about the importance of peace, but I felt I didn’t have to mention it any more. Because we already know it too well.
In fact, this is out of the question of knowing. What is the problem? First, say it clearly. This is neither your fault nor mine. It’s all our fault.
It is none of your business
Most of us are busy making ends meet. I am also busy living my life. We don’t have time to pay attention.
We have learned the word peace from textbooks and lectures. Also, we even donate to UNICEF or Doctors Without Borders. Get a job, have a family, and raise children. Get old with my spouse.
Our lives were not always happy, but moderately unhappy, sometimes happy. Ten years after my death, at least one person will remember me.
There is very little room for peace in this general life. If there is any overlap of misfortunes, there is no more room. This is the reality.
No one can blame us for this reality
We don’t blame anyone else. We don’t call each other hypocrites.
Because we make up the majority of mankind. Compared to mankind as a whole, the people facing war are a minority.
We don’t have to worry every night that the bomb will blow up our house. We don’t have to worry about how to live after mom and dad die in the war.
So, we don’t think peace is important. No, we maybe think it’s important and we talk about importance of peace, but we usually live off the top of our head.
I’m sorry. This is real. I don’t want to let a little girl in Syria know this reality.
Change actually takes a long time. But I know that the most substantial and short-lived peace organization has achieved great achievements. So, I’m also thinking about pinning my hopes on it this time.
This posting is just my opinion. I want to say that I really respect everyone who works hard and risking their lives for peace.
* I’m telling you in advance that this is just my standard. There is no basis for that. It’s just my cup of tea.
I once aimed to make my music list. Music tastes seem to change from time to time. In my early 20s, I liked music that was just exciting.
Now, it’s, like, more emotional. Now I like music that fits my situation the best. I wish there was music playing then. I hope the music brings back memories.
Have you seen the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” (film)? In the movie, it’s a trend to record and give a list of songs to your liking on tape.
Let’s get started.
1. H girl Playlist
Thumbnail means “This song is crazy.” The thing I was most surprised about on this YouTube channel is that the background is too elaborate.
The mood and the lyrics of the song blend so well that it conveys meaning well. The time is short about 30 minutes per video. I like this channel best.
2. May I choose a song for you? Playlist
The channel name is “네고막을책임져도될까” in Korean. It means “Can I take responsibility for your eardrums ?” At first, I laughed a lot when I saw this. I guess they couldn’t name the channel this way. ahahaa olalla
This channel really recommends music that fits the situation. You can know by the title like”Did you have a hard time today?”, “a lullaby whispering in your ear:)” and “Without music, life would be a mistake.”
3. TAKE A LOOK Playlist
The name of this video is “옆에 타 내가 운전은 못해도 노래는 기가 막히게 트니까.” It means “Ride next to me. I can’t drive, but I can play the music enormously.” I think it’s an extremely well-written title.
4. KozyPop Playlist
The title means “Do you have an appointment? Let’s get ready for 30 minutes. Tension UP Groove Pop (11songs)”
5. essential; Playlist
They upload very hard. Sometimes I get music that suits my taste.
It’s all. The best thing is that I make my own list. It’s great that I can put meaning into it. See you next~
