September 18, 2019 The peace festival bringing together the hearts of the world is just two days away!
To commemorate the event, Reggae Artist Natty sent a very special message. 🎶 We hope you enjoy the peace message and music that he has presented to HWPL and all. ✌️🇷🇼🇯🇲 🎶 pic.twitter.com/W0Xg6FOqP0
There’s only one day left already. I’m looking forward to it! What about this time? Let’s wait a little while watching quotes. ๐
LP Project Peace Quotes
H.E. Karim Khalili, Former Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan
“I support the efficacy of his movement to ensure the maintenance of human dignity and restoration of peace throughout the world. It is more than twenty years that Afghanistan has been at war with international terrorsm and has witnessed daily fear of losing lives to deadly terror attacks and other violence. In its past four decades of war, millions of its citizens were displaced, took refuge and disabled;
moreover, huge financial damage has been inflicted to its economy, Therefore, Afghanistan, more than any other country can understand the importance of peace and an end to all wars and violence to achieve their long waited desire which is peace and human dignity. I warmly appreciate HWPL for organizing “Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War” program which can surely draw world’s attention to the vital 133 need of peace and its impact on human societies.”
Legislate Peace Project Quotes
Soraya Salie, Founding member of the Bonteheuwel Walking Ladies, South Africa
“It is simple to understand, yet very powerful. Out of the 10 articles, we are actively advocating for Article 10 โ spreading a Culture of Peace. This is easy because it does not cost money. All you give is kindness and nurturing, which is freely given. There is great advantage within this article. Our Peace committee is active in a community that is known as a high violence region, so we focus on this aspect of Spreading Peace as it is a simple and dynamic way to allow our community to have pride in Bonteheuwel ~ our beautiful, bountiful and blessed community of Bonteheuwel in Cape Town, South Africa.”
There are only four days left on Sept. 18. Did you see the last posting? We looked at 5 cities, including Suva (Fiji), Dili (East Timor), Bujumbura (Burundi), Nairobi (Kenya) and New York. Do you know what the difference is from last year? Last year, all figures supporting the HWPL and DPCW came to South Korea to participate in the Summit, but this year, figures from different regions around the world will exert influence in their respective regions. It is a way to ensure that peace is in place.
Today, I’m going to look at 6 cities. Let’s all do what each of us can!
HWPL and Mindanao are deep ties. In 2014, it helped stop the war between Catholics and Muslims. In June 2015, the actual disarmament of the MILF was carried out. On 24 January 2016, Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) held an unveiling ceremony for the Monument of HWPL. And the Chairman Al Haj Murad Ebrahim of MILF also decided to designate January 24th of every year as โHWPL Dayโ. At the 30th HWPL World Peace Tour, 30,000 participants gathered to attend the HWPL peace summit in Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan on February 15, 2019.
Is there anything that can stop this huge flow? Nothing can stop it. Peace is a difficult but easy one. We can do it if we decide. Let us be the messengers of peace, and deliver the spirit of peace. Everything is up to me to decide. Right now, you can send a peace letter to the president. ๐
He is now nearly 90 years old, risking his life to do the work of peace. He is a Korean War veteran and currently a representative of the HWPL. Do you know why HWPL is considered the most substantive and powerful peace organization? Because he is ahead of anyone in peace. Are you curious about his peace biography? (Click here) Ongoing “Legislate Peace” Campaign is a part of it. Various conferences and peace festivals are currently being held in more than 200 cities in 110 countries. ๐
“I am doing peace work because, without peace, I may not have grown to be educated, I may not have lived without fear of being consumed by violence or war. We can achieve peace work as journalists only if we actively, effectively carry factual stories and peacefully help in heart-to-heart discussions of objective analysis of situations with stakeholders like government officials, peace experts, civil society experts, youth and religious leaders. THE Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) is the most important peace document today.”
It’s a video of him actually participating in the event.
“In 2018, this year I became one of young leaders, spokesperson, at Social Sector at Union Peace Conference- which is the top political Dialogue in Myanmar” where we write we make Principle, policy, Laws which are to end the conflicts.
In 2018 conference, we discussed the importance of children and women, Refugee, Education and Health. Just before the conference, I got a email from IPYG about this WARP summit. When I saw about DPCW which we are working on to become an international Law as UN resolutions, I said myself ” Right, this is what I have been dreaming – I will be one of the World Peace Maker to make HWPL dream come true.
UN has not had this kind of international Law in UN. Therefore, it is the time for regional leaders, national leaders and international leaders to support DPCW and make the world have peace. And, let make this vocabulary ”War (W-A-R)” disappear from our dictionary and our daily life talks. Let educate the Civil Society and get strength from them and make DPCW as an international law together.”
What’s happening in 200 cities in 110 countries? It is a Peace Festival!! Beginning on August 27th, Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles, Paris, France, Mindanao, Philippines, Suva, Fiji, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Cape Town, South Africa, and more, hold “2019 World Peace Summit” to support the DPCW for sustainable development. There are so many people who want peace. They are confident in the DPCW, a new international law aligned with SDGs and UN Charter and are about to achieve peace with their voices.
Today we looked at five cities. Finally, I want to introduce you a boy, born in South Sudan, a country suffering from a sustained civil war.
This young boy is Immanuel Lovizo Justin. When he saw 150 people die horribly before his eyes in a civil war in 2016, he decided to start the work of peace. He already knew his life could be threatened.
He started to encourage people to realize the DPCW, which is a new international law called the “answer to peace” and is supported by former/incumbent Presidents, and he collected 5,000 signatures of support for DPCW by himself. He also held a peace concert and was reported in the local newspaper.
The peace-loving young boy is now in a hurry to collect 10,000 peace letters for the Presidents and has already collected more than 1,000. What value did this South Sudanese boy see in the DPCW? Why is he risking his life in the battlefield to call for the DPCW?
“Legislate Peace (LP)” Campaign is in progress, beginning on August 27th over 200 cities, including Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles, Paris, France, Mindanao, Philippines, Suva, Fiji, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Cape Town, South Africa, and more. They will host conferences, forums, supporting signature events as part of the Peace Letter Campaign and various cultural events.
I’ll show you firsthand what’s going on all over the world.

In Cape Town, the South African branch along with Cabinet Ministers, Speakers of Parliament and women organizations will announce the reply of peace letters and the initiatives of peace education and will show how the DPCW can be used for promoting the end of violence in Africa.
The goal of this movement is establishing a universal standard and international order that can be applied across the globe and enacting an international and legally binding law for peace. It is the DPCW, a comprehensive document that clarifies the role of the members of international society to prevent and resolve conflicts. DPCW is in the process of being introduced to the UN as a draft resolution.
2019 World Peace Summit: 5th Anniversary of the WARP Summit
There are so many useful programs. Everything goes live on YouTube, so I hope we watch it together. Peace is bound to be achieved if each of us makes only a little more effort. Already the whole world is moving, and this huge flow is unstoppable. Together, Peace.
On 29 May 2019, the 6th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walk took place at Ecole Fondamentale Lafia De Kalaban-Koro in Bamako, Mali. The event was hosted by the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and supported by a peace advocate group called Peace One Day. Leaders from various sectors, including government and NGO and more than 300 youth, participated in the event.
The Peace Walk event was hosted for the first time in Mali and it filled the hearts of the youth and event participants with an overwhelming sense of hope. Due to the recent breakout of civil war in Mali few months ago, Malian people have been in urgent need of peace. Afterwards, those students had an opportunity to write their own peace letters. A total of 85 hand-written peace letters are to be sent to the president of Mali, together with other hand-written peace letters.
Let’s find out about Peace One Day who helped HWPL.

Peace One Day is a non-profit organisation that was founded in 1999. In 2001 the member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted the first ever annual day of “global ceasefire and non-violence” on 21 September โ Peace Day. Since 2001, Peace One Dayโs objective is making it a day that is “self-sustaining”, an annual day of “global unity”, a day of “intercultural cooperation on an unprecedented scale.”
UN GA Resolution – A/RES/55/282 / Peace One Day
The founder is an actor turned filmmaker Jeremy Gilley. After a carrer as an actor, Jeremy began making films in 1995 and in 1999. And making a movie was a big boost to Peace One Day. In 1998, Gilley began to make the Peace One Day documentary, eventually deciding to aim for a UN resolution formalising the idea. This goal was reached in 2001. In 2004, the Peace One Day documentary premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) and the BBC.
He and his friends, who had nothing at first, recklessly wrote letters. He said “And we wrote to heads of state, their ambassadors, Nobel Peace laureates, NGOs, faiths, various organizations — literally wrote to everybody. And I remember the first letter. One of the first letters was from the Dalai Lama, saying ‘This is an amazing thing. Come and see me. I’d love to talk to you about the first ever day of peace.'”
That’s how it continued to evolve and results began to emerge. In Afghanistan, 70% reduction in violent incidents was recorded by United Nations Department of Safety and Security on Peace Day 2008. In 2016, after several years work with global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, it was estimated that 2.2 billion people had been exposed to the Peace Day message, that 940 million were aware of the day and that 16 million behaved more peacefully as a result. It’s a brilliant idea and has a distinct ripple effect. But there is an international peace NGO that has developed this a little bit.
“The Complete End of War and Eternal Peace”It is the goal of the HWPL. Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) is affiliated with the UN ECOSOC and the UN DGC. And International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) is its youth organization. In order to achieve its goal, HWPL is trying every year, with a higher growth rate than any other peace organization. Experts and journalists evaluate HWPL as a practical and powerful organization.
On May 25th, โ6th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walkโ was held at about 126 places in 77 countries around the world including Australia, China, Germany, India, Russia, South Africa, the Philippines, and United States of America. These millions of people gathered to urge Support for the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW). It is the HWPL‘s most groundbreaking answer to peace.
Introduction of the DPCW to the UN
What is the problem of existing international law? It is not legally binding and it is allowing war in part. So 21 prominent international law experts from 15 different countries made 10 articles and 38 clauses of the DPCW. DPCW has only been proclaimed for three years, but it’s been a startling development of national and global support for citizens around the world.
It has received formal support from the Pan-African Parliament, the Council of Ministers of the Pacific Islands, the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), and the former presidents of Eastern Europe, as well as MOUs and official documents. Also, when the Chairman Man Hee Lee introduced the DPCW at UN headquarters, delegates from 145 countries gave a standing ovation.

From a civil society perspective, more than 1.3 million citizens around the world support DPCW with signatures and IPYG Peace Letter Campaign. On March 14, citizens from all over the world wrote more than 200,000 letters of peace and sent them to presidents and prime ministers of 192 countries to urge the need for DPCW and support from countries. And the media from around the world reported it extensively, and the world cheered when they heard the news.
In my personal view, every peace organization seems to be absolutely wonderful. Wouldn’t world peace be too easy if all the world’s peace organizations were united, regardless of their own interests? But the core will be needed. I’m sure it’s HWPL that has the power to bring everyone together. We Are One!
The Seoul, Gyeonggi and Southern branches of the HWPL held the fourth round of the Suwon WARP Office Meeting Interfaith Dialogue, which strongly demonstrated their commitment to world peace measures and religious unity. Leaders of the three religions, Cheondogyo, Buddhism, Christianity attended as the panel to discuss the topic of the issue, “Peace.”
The questions were: ‘Is there a record of peace in the annals?’ and ‘What role should I play as a religious leader for the sake of world peace?’ The panel had heated debates based on each of the statements.
A Cheondogyo leader said “As a religious leader, we should not perceive each other as “wrong” and can coexist and symbiosis from mutual respect.”
A leader of Buddhism said “The teachings of the Buddha towards peace are the basis of Buddhism. Charity is unconditional love and sharing and companionship, and the attitude of respect for the life of the unknown, as explained in the first law of Buddha’s reign, will lead to peace.”
The Christian minister quoted the Bible as saying, “Peace is the restoration of the global village to its original form, where all mankind created by God is saved and free from death and pain.”
The HWPL’s Seoul and Gyeonggi Eastern branches had a heated debate among the “Buddhist, Confucian and Christian” promoters. This is the 23rd Seoul WARP Office.
Question is “Is there a case in your scripture that one truth is interpreted in many ways?”
The Christian panel said, “It is the present reality of Christianity that the interpretation of the Bible is rampant. The reason for this much interpretation is God’s concealment of his future, which is difficult to interpret. When the Holy Spirit tells us the truth, we can see the true meaning of it.”
The Buddhist panel said “This place is so beautiful and blessed.” And the Confucian panel said “I’m really surprised that the HWPL WARP Office has reached its 23rd anniversary. I was grateful to be with young people and I should have studied more ways to implement the truth, but I’m sorry for the lack.”
โAbout the Beginning of Manโ, 6th Inter-Continental WARP Office
On June 15th, with the theme of โAbout the Beginning of Manโ, โThe 6th Inter-Continental World Alliance of Religionsโ Peace Office Meetingโ was held to discuss religious teachings on human life written in scriptures through YouTube by religious representatives from Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, and Zoroastrianism.
Regarding the importance of interfaith dialogue based on scriptures, Chairman Man Hee Lee of HWPL says, โMany conflicts bring the destruction of our globe. Wars and conflicts must come to an end in order to achieve peace, but wars break out more frequently because of religion. It is said that God had creation not to kill, so there should be zero conflict caused by religion. This is why religious leaders become one for peace.โ
As Romania holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union for the first half of 2019, a peace conference was held on 1-2 April in Bucharest. The conference was hosted by the ISACCL in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Romania, HWPL, Centre for BBS, University of Bucharest, SNSPA, FRD and Inter-Parliamentary Coalition for Global Ethics.
HWPL was on 31st World Peace Tour. I’ve never heard of a private organization in a far and small country doing this. This is really a huge thing.
Hon. Emil Constantinescu, Former President of Romania, said โIt is necessary to have political and military cooperation based on the mutual trust for the unification. If we plan with the foundation of the precedents of Eastern Europeโs transition from communism to democracy, along with international exchange, it will be of great help for us to establish worldwide governance that the whole world needs.โ
Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, said โHow would the world think of a people who point guns at each other? North and South Korean leaders should bear this in mind. As seen in the case of Germany, reunification should be achieved by the people, not politics or law. If North and South Korean people come forward to reunify, nothing will stop them.โ
Mr. Dragomir Marian, President of Master Peace, said โThrough Peace Education over 5 terms, we have educated children how to prevent and resolve conflicts and violence. Peace exists in the context of family, fellow groups, and societies. Through education, we have realized that teaching the principles of peace in the early stage of life can transform the youth to embrace peace.โ
Mr. Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, said “Who should first be the teacher of children in the world? It is their families, their neighbors, and the society. For a peaceful world, it is not too late to start this work of peace now.โ
Did you see session 1? It was very exciting. I had hoped on the one hand that they wouldn’t fight, but this was a useless worry. They answered honestly and sincerely.
Let’s look at the first question for a rich explanation. “Is your scripture recorded about the first person?”
Christianity:
“From a Christian point of view, we believe that it began 6,000 years ago, and Moses wrote it 2,500 years after the beginning of history, which was recorded in Genesis, and in Hebrews 3. But then creation and the first human perspective changed within Christianity, causing internal division. We can divide man into physical and spiritual creation.
On Genesis 5:1, Adam’s genealogy came out, and that’s where the first human being was recorded. Many humans have been born, but only one descendant has been recorded, because God has chosen one from history to work. I’m putting more emphasis on spiritual creation. It’s not just because it’s physically created, it’s because it’s talking about people who can talk to God.”
Zoroastrianism:
“Yes, it’s written in a book written before 500 B.C. and difficult to understand because of the language. And it’s hard to fully understand because one word contains many meanings. The first person named Gayomat (Keyumars) is recorded. He was the first man on Earth, the first king of Iran, and ruled for 30 years, born in Iran. The Iranian atmosphere, ethnicity, began with Gayomat.”
Moderator: “It’s interesting to have a first person named Gayomat (Keyumars). So did he start a man, or did he already rule people?”
Zoroastrianism: “He is also listed as the king of the earth, Gilsha. Today, in the eyes of the spirit, it’s very interesting, he could hear Auramazda. It was recorded that human beings Gayomat was created by the demise of evil spirits, and he ruled for 30 years.”
Sikhism:
“It’s not just about religion, it’s about evolution written in the scriptures. Because scriptures deal with everything, not just religion. In Sikhism, God created the world and man. It’s written in the scripture, and it says that one made many things. It’s proof of God’s creation of the universe. And he made everything. Of all animals, we are listed as having sovereignty. And the book also records how people have evolved. And it’s recorded that he is reincarnated through his actions.”
Islam:
“Let me answer the first question. Yes, it’s well documented in the Koran. As for the first person, he is Adam and he is recorded in many places. Allah said to Muhammad, he created a man. It’s not written in the Koran about a person’s appearance, but you can guess from the records. The scholars wrote a note that Adam modeled after Allah, but not Allah. It doesn’t look exactly the same, it’s just what it looks like, and the details of the eyes and ears are different. He made Adam out of Allah’s image, but he never looked the same.”
How is it? It’s exciting, right? ๐ Various views aroused the curiosity.
The second session will be held by a total of seven people, including the host, moderator, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism and Christianity. What impressed me most in Session 1 was the “attitude” of the panels. They didn’t think the knowledge they knew was all, and they didn’t attack their opponents. It’s so cool to see such gentle religious leaders.
The 6th HWPL Intercontinental Online WARP Office Meeting Session 2
<Session 2> Question List
Is your scripture recorded about the first person? So, what is his name?
Does your scripture record what the Creator did for him after he created the first man?
Is there a record in your scripture of the first person’s genealogy and the solidarity of the descendants?
The number of viewers at the same time was over 200. I’m more curious about Session 2. The wind of peace is blowing!
The Intercontinental Online WARP Office meeting is a special platform. Experts from each religion will participate as a panel. They ask each other questions and talk to each other about the same topic.
The reason why this meeting is more special is because it is broadcast live all over the world in real time. And listeners from all over the world can participate directly online. Do you want to know what we’ve been talking about so far? ๐
HWPL WARP Summit
History of TOPIC
“What Religious Texts Tell You” 1. How to Get Rid of Evil 2. The Beginning and Origin of All Things 3. About God 4. AfterLife 5. About Creation 6. About the Beginning of Man
Isn’t that what you’ve been curious about? Don’t you happen to think about that? Wouldn’t there be no answer to that kind of debate? They’re just saying what you think and ending it, aren’t they? You’re right and I’m right, and that’s how it ends?
Of course, I thought so too.Of course, I thought so too. But HWPL WARP Offcie was different. They talk with exact criteria. What do you think it is? The secret is a “Scripture.”
Religion without a scripture is recognized as a culture, and everything is spoken around a scripture. Then it becomes much easier to talk. Because when comparing the scriptures of each religion, the answer comes out. Is there content in the scriptures for each subject? If so, what does it mean? If you do this, you can’t have an argument and you can agree with each other.
So far, wars caused by religion and ideology have accounted for 80 percent of human history. Think about it in your head right now. Isn’t there too much? But you can’t fight by speaking on the basis of scriptures. How wise! It’s so amazing.
<Session 1> Question List
Is your scripture recorded about the first person? What is his name and when did he come about?
What is written about the person’s appearance in your scripture? In some scriptures, it is written that man is made according to the shape of God.
Did a man come first or a woman first?
The 6th HWPL Intercontinental Online WARP Office Meeting
The first session will be held by a total of six people, including the host, headmaster, Muslim, Sikh, Zoroastrian and Christian leaders. I think the conversation is going to be so exciting, I’m going to watch it live. Let’s see! Also, you can see it again after the event is over.
